yes, she’s hare in town. I’m not completely incapacitated, I hate to let the team down, but thiscan’t be helped. Sorry!
I’m on blood thinners, which has a lot of cautions but the purpose is to disolve clots, specifically in my lungs. That’s as deep as my knowledge on the subject goes. So far, it sucks.

You think that it sucks now, ....... wait until you nick yourself with a small cut, that will bleed and bleed and bleed.

FWIW; I'm on Lo Dose Aspirin for a blood thinner.
I carry a small tube of Wound Seal in my pocket for bleeding nicks & cuts. The Wally World Pharmacy should be able to order it for you. Good stuff, worth the coin.

Yeah, they said I should be using an electric razor, didn’t say anything about growing a Manly beard? I could double check on that issue. Mentioned getting a soft toothbrush to prevent bleeding gums, I brought home the issued soft toothbrush and a little tube of toothpaste and mouthwash.So I’m all set! I like their toothpaste, tried buying it but can’t be done. This was before, a different event a few years ago.
Anyway, be nice to TA, if you can? He means well, I think it's that Minnesota air?

Get well Amigo!..I'm on blood thinners also along with low dose asperine. Had my left leg artery replaced with some alchohal rated fuel line From my thigh to the foot. Not at all neat and the pain killers gave me constipation. Think of it ... A guy that is full of shit gets loaded up with shit to the point he goes to the hospital to get a morphine shot or a drip along with some turbo 5000 laxative!!! Wasn't a pleasant situation and stunk to high heavens.
Anyways you take care and remember you are in all our prayers.

Surface blood clot in the right calf. I don't bleed to much on it. Just have to worry about deep bleeding.

My Doctor said anyone over 60 should be taking a aspirin at least once a day to prevent clotting and heart attacks.

Thank you, everybody.
Update. Yesterday Icouldn’t draw a deep breath without a sharp pain right in the middle (solar plexus) of my chest. Driving me nuts and couldn’t sleep, although I desperately needed to sleep. No sleep since Wednesday!
I called the help line, explained the whole situation. She said to use a heating pad on my chest, which I did for about 15 minutes. Then I tried to go to bed, flat on my back. And, miraculously I fell asleep!
That was about 11:30 last night and I woke up about 10:30 this morning. No, getting up to pee, I slept straight through. Feel 100% better. I guess the blood thinners are working, but last night when I removed the tiny tinny needle last night from my belly, it started bleeding, a lot! I pressed a paper towel on it and got it stopped right away. So, welcome to the world of blood thinners.
I feel wrong out, but I’m breathing without the painful deep breaths. It’s almost noon and I have this plastic tubing stretched all over the house, hooked up to the 02 machine. All things considered, I don’t feel too bad. THE HOUSE IS A MESS, OF COURSE. I might need to look into a cleaning service because I sure as hell do not feel like doing anything about it. In fact, the idea of a shower is way too strenuous to consider.

I feel like I should try to take a shower, today. I’m getting to look like Gabby Hays. Not quite but why take any chances? I slept through the night again, like 10 hours without going to the bathroom. Normally I’m up every 2 or 3 hours. Of course, I did take a Melitonin.

I'm in the blood thinner club also. I stuck myself with a knife while gutting a deer last fall and bled like a stuck hog. I've got Bleed Stop powder and it works great as a coagulant. They sell it at Wally World and on Amazon.

I did take a shower two days ago. It wasn’t fun and upon toweling off I immediately got in bed and rested for (IDK?) 20 minutes. got rid of that growth on my face! ko ko, I know that I give you a hard time, but I do not understand the beards. It is a free country and we can do as we please. I please to shave about every other day. I am very sorry for teasing you. You have a handsome beard and you have every right to be proud of it….it’s just not for me.
Yeah, that’s about as long as I have ever gone without a shower and a shave, on the side of some Utah or Colorado mountain, living in a pup tent and chasing Mule deer. I’m afraid my Mule deer chasing days are behind me. But, I liked it. It was always brutal, hunting on public land, and if you got a nice 4 pointer, you earned it!

My high school buddy, Richard. He always bitched about how long it took him to take a dump in the woods, hard on his knees. etc. So this year he proudly showed me his premium solution. It was a toilet seat that had a couple hinges and legs that unfolded so he could sit there and enjoy the scenery, which was georgeous, since this was up in 201, the upper left corner around Dinasaur and Maybell. It’s a special access area these days, at least I think it is. Well, he finally got a chance to use his “Potty Chair” and marched off to a secluded spot while I did something else. He was gone a long time and then I heard him cussing a blue streak!
Seems like his precious potty chair worked as advertised until it was time for an asswipe. He apparently leaned over and somehow managed to kick a critical support member and, as luck would have it, he fell smack dab in the middle of a man sized pile of feces and further attempts were just making things worse. This guy had quite a mess to clean up and of course, it was dark and he didn’t find his flashlight until daylight. I suppose he tried really hard to clean up but his pants and boots were soiled and it was hard to escape the stink!
After a while, all the bitching and moaning had subsided and it was too cold outside so he came in the tent for the rest of the night. When we left the campsite early, he had set his fancy stool under the rear tire and smashed it pretty good so that he wouldn’t be tempted to repair it and risk another mess. Besides, I was ragging on him that he should have practiced his lean-in for the asswipe in the daytime where he could see what he was doing, not that he needed any practice wiping his ass; but maybe if he staked it real secure….nah!

There is actually a book, 'How To Shit In The Woods' that was around back sometime in the 80s I would guess.
Now-a-days our high tech camper could just watch a you tube video on his smart phone.
Beards; Yeah, I razor burnt my pink & tender chin once too often. That was damn near 50 years ago. Ain't happened since and ain't gonna happen again.
