Got the canoe on some new water last Monday. Pretty lake with the East end 'No Wake'. Gotta love that. Caught a couple of Channel Cats for supper & had a pretty good time. Sadly, the 'info wonk' that I had called assured me that there were no carp in the lake, so I left my bowfishing rig at home. Either that was a mistake or I don't know what a carp looks like. Saw a few decent sized 3 footers.
Some decent looking calling areas down that way, too.

Yes! For sure, never underestimate INFORMATION PEOPLE’S ability to offer inaccurate information. But, it was offered “free” no charge!
