and a caution about the danger of the Left in the United States.
The scenario: a man stabs another man. The police arrive. The assailant claims that the man on the ground is a racist. The police then handcuff the dying man while they interview the assailant. Meanwhile, the perps mother takes the murder weapon and hides it in her home.
This is Britain today. Full of third world immigrant's while the homegrown citizens are indoctrinated in Leftist culture.The same sort of effort by Joe Biden to welcome millions of illegals into America. Many left wing states allow the illegals to vote in our elections, unless they are caught.

That, Sir, is exactly my point! If enough people vote for Democrat Socialist's, we are headed down that trail at warp speed!
What has fucked Britain is their participation in the European Union. The suits in Brussels allowed unchecked immigration to England and against English wishes. Therefore, apparently the muslims perceived a better deal in emigrating to England rather than Denmark or France, for example. Maybe they get more free stuff or free Mosk construction? I have no idea? But, maybe it’s shit like this; if the muslim person claims that an arbitrary citizen is a RACIST, the police are obligated to at least arrest the accused “citizen” on the word of an immigrant!
So, the English citizen has become so Left Wing radical, that they apparently are completely on board with this progressive Left Wing attitude. I have heard that free speech has been severely curtailed. People are arrested for online comments. It’s apparently getting worse, not better.
All this is to say that, if the Democrats, (not the Democratic Party) have their way, free speech in this country could be headed towards SPEECH POLICE arresting arresting citizen's for online comments. There is no doubt that Democrats want to control what you say, and maybe even what you think; if they can find a way to enforce it.
There is no doubt that Democrats are communists in thought and deed. They dislike the label, but it is obvious.

Gawd help you if you're caught carrying a knife with a blade over 3" long.

question.. Up north there are some farmers that roll up a mesh fence or what not into circular tube/cylinder and fill it to top with rocks. They are placed on the fence corners and used to hold the fence up. Each corner has one with a few in the middle someplace with two rock cylinders and gate between them. what culture or nationality does this as it must be something brought over from the homeland??????

Me thinks that they come from Italy. Or maybe Switzerland.
Field full of rocks, hard to plow around, & no wood to spare for fence posts.
Lemons to lemonade. Big basket full of rocks from the field to keep the fence wire tight. Shows where the fence corners and the gates are.

I’ve seen a few of those things, usually a rural community. I don’t think they are particularly attractive, just a kinda cheap, but labor intensive solution. Will not replace an engineered reinforced concrete wall or retaining wall. In the military we used to call it a FIELD EXPEDIENCY. Could also be called Quick and dirty, in some cases.

Yeah koko I think that's it but why are Italians living and farming in Minnesota??
You only see them in certain parts of the state and and kind of grouped up for 20 miles or so from one farm to other. then farther down road you see nothing like it for 100's of miles.
Maybe have to get Swedish and Norwegian clans together and run them out of the state..

Just read through this post and couldn't help but chuckle about what a bunch of old bigoted farts we are. Makings of a tribe?
I have seen those wire hoop things out west filled with rock stuff and they are usually somewhere along a fence line, Maybe as an anchor for the wire, maybe. It's hard to pound posts into rock out there.

WE got the makings of a cult, Walt.
I remember seeing those wire baskets up around Ashfork. there is like a quarry just inside the National Forest boundary. They are mining this red rock. It’s attractive, not quite orange and not pink, but I remember seeing some well made wire mesh and artfully filled with chunks of the local product.

I remember when they first started to show up on BLM lands.
We use to make corner weight with 2x4's nailed to the top of the post then down to boards on turned up 2x4's with boards on top to make a deck then placed rocks on the wood to hold the corners down. The rolled fence of no climb or woven works a lot better.
Place fence post in the center attach your wire then put the rocks inside. They are all over the west now or at least where I've been.
