Former president and Bath House regular Barack Obama was quoted recently;
Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds of alien life is probable, However, because of its vastness, it’s unlikely they can travel light years and bother earthlings.
(I’m paraphrasing his comments)

To be sure, egg-heads have gotten into fistfights over those questions.
Space is endless and expanding. Hard to wrap the mind around that, but ..... ok.
Mathematically there pretty much HAS to be alien life. The question would be 'time frame'. 120 years ago the Wright brothers barely got off of the ground. Now we go faster & higher. Another 120 years, who knows ??? It's unlikely that even if aliens did visit us that their technology would even come close to aligning with ours.
At one time, scientists assured the people that speed faster than 32 fps (falling object in a vacuum) was impossible. Then the Sound Barrier was the limit. Now it's the Speed of Light. Who knows what comes after that ???
This is a debate that could never end.
Consider this, though; The technology involved in getting here from another galaxy, universe or dimension as opposed to an Atlantean civilization deep in the unexplored ocean coming up for air now & then.
Final answer; Alien teenagers joyriding in their parents spaceships, laughing their drunken asses off at us.

Ya, Chucklehead! Now explain the Navy combat footage of Tic Tacks diving into the ocean? Is the next best guess our own secret Area 51 stuff? They used to say that we reverse engineered LED’s and transistors from crashed Flying Saucers. In fact, how do you explain Barack Obama, if not a fairy from outer space?

Can't argue with that logic.
