I yet live. Too soon to sing Ragnar's Death Song.

Check your email.

Left shoulder is blown out. Painful to shoot my bow. One Dr. is saying Bursitis. Another is saying Arthritis and I'm leaning toward a damaged intermediate deltoid muscle or tendon. MRI next month to see if who's right.

In the meantime, I'm doing mental exercises of the perfect shot sequence; set-up, aiming, and follow thru, all with total concentration. (Don't laugh. It's harder than it sounds.) Heavy sub-conscious Zen stuff.

And a blowgun. A big kick-ass blowgun.

I'm more concerned about Crow Woman. Hasn't been around lately and I know that her daughter was ill. Lit a smudge bundle and sent good thoughts on the Equinox.

Thanks for scaring the hell out of me! I was imagining several results, at your age, not to mention your better half!

Even Tillie was worried. Pinky don’t give a shit about nothing; except when we are out of cashews. You know he requires 4 a day, plus extras whenever he squawks, like when I have company….especially when there is company! People go away thinking; “Man, I couldn’t stand that fucking bird, all day long!”
The funny thing is, he’s only raising hell because new people, otherwise, I don’t hear a peep out of him all day long, Except when he wants a cashew!

So, mend at your own speed and that blow gun sounds like an excellent time spender.

TTYL,
El Bee

I had to really search for that! AOL said that I had labeled messages from you as spam? So I found it buried in spam from yesterday. Of course, I did no such thing. And yes, I looked it up and nothing posted from you since August! PLease try to do better! Your reason sounds a little pussyfied, but I understand. lol

I’m not surprised! We had some rain starting a couple days ago, that ruined my wax job! All weather, except your monsoons comes out of the west Pacific, through California and on to Arizona. We get our share then you get some of it. But do you get the frogs? Or is that just southern AZ?

We used to get the 'Spring Peepers' right after a rain. Small frogs about an inch long that would come out in mass numbers and set up a Hell of a racket campaigning for mates.

What we get now, in declining numbers are the Colorado River Toads. The ongoing drought has been hard on everything. These frogs / toads are about the size of a decent Bullfrog and spend most of their time buried in the dirt. I've dug a couple of them up while landscaping. They normally come out after a rain to seek water puddles and mates. I've found them in my goldfish pond on the patio.
Their skin secretes a toxic substance that will put a dog into convulsions if the dog picks it up in their mouth. The hippies in the 70s were also fond of 'Toad Licking' to either get high or the courage to bang their hairy hippie honeys. [Eek!]

It’s the second one, good size, prolly as big as a bullfrog? They live in the sand in washes and come out in a good rain. But they are gone shortly after the rain stops except a few that get stranded for some reason like trapped in a well or something. I’ve seen then crushed on the highway so that you really have to be careful, it’s like sleet or a hail storm. You call them Colorado river Toad? long ways from the Colorado river, closer to the Gila river, maybe? Never accidentally dug one up although I have had to dig myself out of a jam once or twice. Thanks anyway.

Good hunting. El Bee

PS and another thing. At your age, you shouldn’t be doing anything strenuous, except in bed.

All kidding aside. I thank you, Richard, for being loyal to Huntmasters. You are an important element, via your contributions. I don’t know if it is worth it, sometimes. But really, I could have closed the doors a long time ago but for your intelligent commentary. So thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. Amigo!
