I feel a bit cheated on several levels. First, lots of details that have been speculated about for 3 friggin’ years and now the authorities have no interest in spilling their guts.
I guess the prosecutor wanted to save the trial expense, and unsure that there could be one contrary juror that (you know) WE CAN’T BE SURE THE DNA WASN’T PLANTED? and for the second time in a Century, we might seat another OJ jury.
But, letting Kohberger off of the Firing Squad without explaining the unknown details is really stupid. This DA, Thompson said; well he wouldn’t tell the truth so why let him make up a story? This is bullshit, a well known legal term. Truth, but verify. Brian, if you want to escape certain death, tell us where is the famous KaBar? Make him tell the connection to those two girls. Again, the DA said there was no connection, no photos, no text messages, no email.
Sure, and at the same time, this PHD student had spent the ensuing month surgically wiping all his electronics of all history, so of course, he left no trace, just like bagging his trash and putting it in the neighbors containers.
They found a spade in his trunk and it still had northern Idaho soil on the blade. So, you ask him, where did you bury the evidence? if we don’t find it, you are still going to trial for quadrupled murder.
So, DA Thompson was full of shit. There was a lot of ways to check out his story and still proceed with the trial.
Now, they are getting away with blurred crime scene photos. Nobody wants to see all the blood and the families want privacy. Never mind about the public’s right to know the truth; why hell, they are only paying for all of this justice. And, it would be the first time they gave any consideration to the families, after keeping them mostly in the dark.
Then, turns out this cold bleak prison has lots of Bennies! He get a TV, a computer, special vegan chef prepared meals, regular showers and masseuse! Maybe not? I just made that up; but who knows? When the book deal goes through, he will be rolling in dough, even after he pays the fine.
I maybe could drive that hour and a half route down the back roads with a metal detector. Give me a month and a half and I could search all the turn outs and find his shit. In fact, I’m surprised some eager reporter hasn’t found the murder weapon by now!
So, that’s my take on the events. Tell me what y’all think ‘bout it?
Good hunting. El Bee

Apparently he'll rot in jail for life, which to me would be worse than the death sentence. He will forever be looking over his shoulder 'cause lets face it, bad things gonna happen to that boy.

Do you mean like Jeffrey Dalmer? I think he was beaten to death, which is arguably one of the better solutions. I have said that a good capital punishment would be to lock the perp in a room with the relatives and friends of the victim, then beat the living shit out of the perp until he’s no longer breathing and hopefully, it takes all friggin’ day and maybe half the night!
Having attended Catholic school in my formative years, I understand pain as a learning device. I had a fat and jovial Nun in the 4th grade. Just an occasional rap across the knuckles with her wooden ruler. (which I deserved)
Then, in 5th grade, we had an evil witch, big woman. She inflicted terror. My Dad came to the classroom one time, the only time, and I think he was never the same; she was bigger than him, of course. Just a verbal beating, left no scars. Anyway. For some reason, I can’t recall her name, but she had a fur mustache. But, in 4th grade, her name was Sister Rufina.
Boy, those were the days. School was a mile through 2 feet of snow, uphill both ways. One time I tried to jump on to a wood crate in a flooded basement under construction. I skidded across and into 4 feet of ice cold muddy water, continued on to school where the school nurse stripped me to my underwear, gave me a blanket and set my clothes on radiators to dry. I don’t think they even bothered to call my mom; at least I never heard about it? But, this was Minnesota and winters were 14 months long.

I heard last night that Kohberger is being seriously harassed in his new digs. Maybe it’s an initiation like rushing a sonority or fraternity? Or maybe those hardened criminals don’t like savage stabbers of University students? Well, he don’t sleep at night anyway, so it shouldn’t bother him too much….or he can call his mommy? She will be glad to hear from him. But, that would be an interesting development, if he is harassed by his cell mates. I mean, he is supposed to be in a cell by himself 23 hours a day, but they can yell at him through the air conditioning ducts. WE gonna find out how tough he is, or he might hang himself with bed sheets like Epstein?

See, I know this shit! When I was 16, me and a few friends from a Catholic high school, (Loyola) were being brats at the Huntington Sheraden in San Marino. We were unscrewing Christmas lightbulbs from the trees on the property and tossing them against walls and they would make a loud popping sound. San Marino PD showed up and took us to the station where they held us in the Lobby and called our parents. My friend’s parents took responsibility for me and I had to show up at a court and basically nothing was done; we all got a stern lecture. All this is to say that I certainly know what Kohberger is going through because I’ve been there, done that, and it was scary!

PS see, San Marino is a really ritzy little town, no crime to speak of, wall to wall mansion's. At least at the time, they were very tolerant of petty street crime.
