We have a guy in one of the archery clubs that I belong to; ......... Standard issue WASP. Will eat a hot egg & chorizo burro with one hand and eat a raw Jalapeño with the other & never bat an eye.
I've been advised that when he offers some of his homemade Chili, to politely decline like my life depends on it.
I like a bit of heat but not at the expense of the flavor.

I dunno .......... probably to some extent but I think that part of it is just burning the taste buds out over time.
No accounting for taste; What my wine-snob daughter thinks is a fine vintage, to me tastes like floor cleaner and the Chaucer's Mead that I favor is to her Kool-Aid w/ EverClear.
I put some Jalapeno seeds up in a planter just for the heck of it. Who knows .............???

The last thing I would want is that we start to view political parties as race based. However, there is a component of white Liberals and blacks, with the standard “Nanny State” element. I do believe that Democrats have manipulated minorities into believing they are oppressed. The opposite is true, to some extent. They are protected, as not smart enough to obtain a government ID card to present at the polls for purposes of voting. This has lead to fraud, certain people voting multiple times and other fraudulent activities. Like ballot harvesting and dead people voting. Face it, Democrats are crooks, hardly bother to deny it. And create and pass laws to make fraud easier. They need to be watched, diligently.
