Now, you know that Carmen, alligators and crocks all lay underwater waiting for an animal to come down and drink? Here, the tables were turned. And that cat holds its breath for a long time!

Anyway, I thought it was pretty amazing

Good hunting. El Bee

Edit: I see that spellcheck strikes again! Figure it out

Here’s another one! I knew they were comfortable in water, but this is ridiculous!

I also heard that if you hunt them with dogs, unlike a lion, who will scamper up the first tree they can find, a jaguar will probably just kill half your dogs before you get a chance to spear it.
Good hunting. El Bee

If you can find a copy of 'Tigrero' by Sasha Siemel at a decent price (good luck) it's a pretty awesome read about those cats.

Yes, I’ve read an couple articles about him. Unbelievable!
And, he wasn’t some historical fiction, he was fairly contemporary. I think?

Years back when first started running dogs my two females ran a coyote down to a open creek. I lost signal shortr time later on GPS so I had to walk in and check up on the dogs. I found young female as she came out of the water but could not find the other or the coyote for that matter. I just stood there looking around and listening then all of a sudden i heard her bark. I had to work my way around to where bark was coming from and then go it pin pointed. In a 4-foot-high bank there was a beaver tunnel going back into it and only about half diameter of hole was exposed with half above and half below water.
I had no idea of what to do about that other than call to her to come out which is pretty tuff when she on a coyote. I called and called and almost pleaded with her and she finally swam out of there thank god.

What if I told you, the left wing and right wing both belong to same bird!
