Wildfire or snow?
Been snowing since 10pm last night. Still going strong out there.
5" so far. Another fun morning in the high country.
We do need the snow for moisture or we'll be black by mid summer.
Have a good day!

I'd take snow any day, but a good fire in the CRP don't hurt much either. Out with the old and in with the new.

Snow is a healer and refresher and a much needed water provider.
7-8" this morning finally got the place plowed out.

Only thing I’ve seen him drive is a vintage truck? Maybe a Chevy? He’s a Renaissance Man, full stop. Not necessarily a bad thing. Fancies himself a Druid, looks the part, more or less. Member in good standing, not on the watch list, as is TA. [Confused]

I need to board Tillie for the wedding coming up. Of course she needs a bunch of shots, whether she actually needs them or not. That’s the rule of the boarding facility, they want twice as much if I want her to co mingle with other temporary residents including a “Kennel Cough” jab. If I don’t pick her up after 3 months, they will sell her or breed her to a pit bull. (Good luck with that!)
Just kidding.

I think I can go down to the city clinic tomorrow and they will give her the required shots. The prices are a lot higher than I imagined?Everything is higher than I imagined! Eggs! Holy shit! I saw something on the news. Georgia is like the friggin’ chicken capital of the US of A! Some kind of bird flu? They don’t inoculate chickens, they kill them to solve the problem and if eggs cost 1 or 2 dollars each, too fucking bad! Free range is a matter of interpretation. If they can turn around, that qualifies. What else?

Good hunting. El Bee

"...... wash the car again ?" [Confused] [Confused]

You people up there in Mini-Soda must have some strange rituals. I've never washed the truck I'm driving or the one before that.
What we do down here is stop on a dusty road, spray the entire truck with WD-40 and then continue to drive on thru the dust. This does a couple of things; (1) It mutes the shine and makes the truck less conspicuous, (2) It builds up a protective crust that helps protect the vehicle, and (3) It shames those chrome & gloss, boom box wanna-be cowboys who don't even know how to get to a dirt road.

El Bee ... Forget the wedding; Tillie has a package coming, should be on Wednesday. You'll have to read to her.

WD40 is my secret weapon for camoflage, when I’m trying to ditch border patrol. I didn’t know anybody else knew about it?

Good hunting.

ok we up here wash our cars and trucks and you guys spray yours with fish oil???? Hmmmmmmm

Yes Leonard kennel cough shots are needed to protect Tilly and other dogs as well.

Lets take a trip down memory lane.
Tony Tebbe (TT) Tony at one time was breeding, raising and even training decoy dogs for others. He didn't bother to give his dogs proper shots and ended up with dogs with Parvo which infected everyone else that brought dogs in for training.
The state ended up shutting his operation down for Parvo and inhumane treatment to animals.
Each state has it owns rules main one is rabbis shots and few others.
I think i give my dogs like a 5-way shot which covers all the bad crap.

Yeah, up there you would need to rinse the vehicle regularly due to road salt. It wouldn't help, but you gotta do something. [Eek!]

Koko not everyone here drives on a paved road and why we have car washes. and no wd-40 not a option. Last thing we need is cats licking and then shitting on our cars or pickups.
[Eek!]

Yeah but how cool would it be to come back to the truck after a calling stand to find a Mt. Lion licking a fender ??? [Cool]

Yeah....I hate when that happens! My son lost his male to heart worm. Took him to the vet and he said; I better put him down right now, but jr wouldn't do it, took him home and he died the next day. It's a local serious disease. It hasn't been mentioned around here?

Good hunting. El Bee

yeah heart worm is another bad one. I did test a few dogs for it but stopped, got pretty expensive. it pops up every once in a while, here and maybe I should have a few dogs tested again.
