I'm watched a couple videos about this United Healthcare CEO and have a comment or two.
First, it's amazing that they know where the killer arrived and how he got to NYC. But the photos of surveillance all over the fucking city, buying a Starbucks, hailing a cab, riding a "e" bike, Walking down several streets and in Central Park.
They found his backpack, received, (at least) thousands of tips. some more valuable than others.
They have the money shot of him pulling the trigger!
And, authorities claim they have a name, so the tips have produced results even after 5 days.
They know he went to the Greyhound Terminal, they know he caught a bus to Atlanta. They know the "Hostel" he was staying at. They know he arrived my bus.
They have live cartridges with messages labeled and left deliberately, they have spent shell casings, commonly called empty brass.
What actually blows me away is all the surveillance and they are watching every fucking body! It would be a gross understatement to say; "Hey, there are cameras on every corner!"
It's far more intensive/pervasive than EVERY CORNER! every place of business, the Uber and Lyft vehicles have GoPro's and every "swinging dick" (a technical Army term) has a smartphone.
It should have occurred to me a long time ago that we are being spied on CONSTANTLY! Oh, yeah, I knew there are cameras aimed at every intersection, probably every sidewalk and Google is not only overhead, in space taking photos.
And every property, and every street, and regularly updating. But they are rolling through neighborhoods taking photos of every fucking street in America!
This is truly the GOVERNMENT SURVEILLANCE CULTURE, and we think we have freedom and privacy? FUCK NO, WE DON'T!
I have no sympathy for the killer, I hope he's caught and the sooner, the better. But, we might as well been walking around in a compound, like the exercise yard in the state prison; they can detect every fart!
Think about it! and what about all those targeted ads we are bombarded with with every click on the computer, custom designed, for drinkers, for shooters, for McDonald lovers, for BassProShops visitors, for convenience store Subway buyers, and they know your millage, and if you try to outrun them, they can disable your vehicle from space! How cool is that?

only in the big cities leonard, but keep in mind most are security cameras, not installed by gov. but do give aid when something bad happens. who knows maybe someday you shoot a bad guy, and a security camera saves your ass from going to jail.

I can't condone the murder of the United Healthcare CEO but the policy of rejecting claims and having to resubmit can certainly raise the ire of most policy holders. This is not just the policy of healthcare, auto insurance companies pull the same BS.

I have to agree with the above. There is so much injustice directed at the little people.Whether your beef is against your local city or town or county or maybe unjustly discharged? There are so many ways “The Man” can fuck over an innocent citizen, and it’s easy for the fucking Media to helpfully dogpile just about anybody! Ask Donald Trump!
The “System” or how ever you choose to define it can be cruel. It’s hard to defend against concerted onslaught. There is always the tendency to believe what the government says, about anybody and it’s easy to feel like you are being dumped on by many sources, neighbors, strangers, hell, I got a notice from the city about Tillie just yesterday! Seems she is just about undocumented and I need to renew her dog license, and if I wait too long, there are stiff penalties!
Of course, most of us do not resort to elaborate murder plots! But for me, I have to admit, INSURANCE is one of my major Hobbyhorses! Oh well.
