I do not see it as a good thing. Whoever is picked, the polls will show in the coming months that the race is getting tighter. Next thing you know, Trump will be behind and they steal another election. The fix is in. He will not be allowed to win, no matter the will of the people.

The 14 million primary voters for Biden (you know, the little people) should have stayed home. Their vote didn't matter. The DNC party bosses will decide who they want in the White House. As long as they can get the race tight enough, they can steal it (again) and have plausible deniability when the Repubs say they cheated.

......... I still have the (really) old South Bend blister pack fly rod, reel & a couple of flies that I bought back when I was a teen-ager.
Those flies are long gone and it's on it's third fly line right now. It still catches fish, though.

The problem with fishing with a fly rod is in the number of suitable bodies of water that are not brush choked and with banks lined with trees.
For every suitable trout stream with bare banks, there are 20 so brush-choked that a cast is IMPOSSIBLE! For instance, the entire eastern Sierra is a line snagging frustration. The only suitable locations are actual still water lakes where you can wade out far enough that every back cast will not get snagged! This is a late afternoon situation when there is a hatch and the fish are feeding on the surface for 45 minutes before dark.
I've never been to western Montana but they say that there are many streams with barren banks that won't snag a back cast. I have seen several streams and rivers in Colorado that would qualify as suitable trout streams, I just never had a flyrod available when I observed a decent stream. It's a bit mythical, but those suitable trout streams exist in the mind more often than in fact.
I hate to break it to you dreamers, but this is reality.

Two ways to go ...........
(1) Roll cast. Not too big on fineness but gets the job done.
(2) What we used to call 'Dabbing'. Basically, using the fly rod like a cane pole to drop flies in place on small streams. Not pretty but works well in the right time & place.
