It is all pretty interesting for sure and the deep state really does exist. I remember my dad telling me to watch out for, at the time, the Trilateralists. From the first shot to the announcement that the shooter was down was less than 5 seconds. Probably about 3 seconds.
That means that the Secret Service Sniper heard the shot, located the threat and made a kill shot in less than 5 seconds. I know those guys are well trained and get a lot of 'trigger time' ..... on paper. We shoot in the real world.
Extrapolate this to a coyote stand. Coyote pops up out of nowhere, shift rifle to the target and make a kill shot at 130 yards IN UNDER 5 SECONDS !!!
That's some damn good shooting ........ maybe too good ????

Not to disagree, Amigo. But, when I am tracking an incoming coyote, just as soon as he checks up, I'm pulling the trigger and I wouldn't be surprised if it was in the neighborhood of about 5 seconds. I have been hearing things, like security first noticed this creep while using a rangefinder at the front gate. I thi nk they got some kind of a photo, as well, but when they tried tokeep an eye on him he kinda disappeared. But they had him on their radar for more like hours, not minutes.
Liberals are making a big deal by claiming the perp was a registered Republican. They are stupid for bringing it up because it's a well known Liberal tactic to switch parties so they can interfere in the other party's procedures, standard operating procedure on the Left.
Getting back to the poor performance by the Secret Service detail. Apparently the first lady had an event nearby, and borrowed key personel for her security. If true, I don't know if it actually weakened Trump's security? All in all, that detail was a total failure. First thing is to get all the chicks off his security team, that would be a good start. I think they said one Babe was hiding under the stage instead of throwing her body in front of Trump, as is SOP. Get rid of all of them, they cannt possibly be effective. Sorry to keep harping on this but it's strictly Liberal politics and can't be defended.

Damn, Tim! Conditions in Minneesota must be a lot different than what I remember? At the four directions, at the frequently stated 130 yards, only left and right factor in. A headwind and tail wind are essentially negligible. The left and right in fractions. I do not know about the north woods but out here, any wind is hardly a factor, at the stated distances. Hold dead on and don't worry about it!
That's my method and it has served me well.

Let me just vent a bit. What we have these days of the 6.5 Creedmoor is the focus on long range and fiddling with your knobs for every shot. I am a product of the old school where we chambered rifles in flat shooting cartridges and thought about terms like "Mid Range trajectory". There again, being old school, I do not shoot into the next time zone with super streamlined bullets with a high B.C. and very little consideration for expanding/mushrooming, wound channel characteristics. The focus is on ringing steel, not particularly, killing animals.
I never have time to crank turrets up, down or sideways. I favor the Horus type of Christmas Tree reticles, IF I need to make those hero shots beyond a quarter mile. It's just not me! I (fucking) HOLD into the wind, I do not dial it. This is computer shit, got a fucking "AP" on your cell phone with a program for making impossible shots that these fools have no business taking, in the first place! Where have we gone wrong? They don't even know it, they think the satisfaction, not to mention the thrill is, the longer, the better!
If I had to crank 3 or 4 clicks of windage for a 130 yards shot, I think I would QUIT!

If I had to hold 'off of fur' ...... it was too far to shoot, and then walk out to confirm a miss or carry the critter back to the truck.

Koko you have to account for earth gravitational pull and twist of rifle or direction bullet is spinning. Ask any sniper they clue you in really quick as it can change from here to there that's why you go on a hunting trip you site gun back in before going out. Thought you old guys new all this crap?
There are few more things to also consider but I think it's over your head. LOL Barometric pressure can also along with change in elevation.
Example I site gun in at the range here at home and then made a drive to west river south Dakota. Recheck zero and find gun is low and to left of center at 100 yards. Just way it is..

Koko JBM has a ballistic calculator. Go play around with it and use different numbers from other areas and see how drop and windage changes. Barometric pressure, humidity, elevation for area you are shooting in and temp. as well. see what you come up with. plus kid shot from elevated location so angle changes as well.

I know you guys are experts in about everything but let me chime in. Trump's shooter was 130 yards away. That's 390 feet! The 5.56 round was going about 3300 fps. So the round took about 1/8 of a second to travel the distance. Wind, earth rotation, moon position none of that crap matters. Any boot camp private in his second week could make that shot. The 20 year old nutcase was in a panic because he was discovered by that cop who was hanging off the side of the building. He simply rushed the shot and Trump got extremely lucky.

The shooter wherever he was from may have zeroed his rifle at home but as we found out its off about 4" to left where he took shot plus from elevated position. it makes a difference I don't care who you are.
Matter of fact I seen what's his name (criner) do same thing on a Mexico coyote. Had to recheck his zero cause he missed a standing coyote at 100 yards.

Maybe he used an AR? Based on my experience, those contraptions with a handle place the line of sight so far above the bore, that it's very easy to miss a shot, if sighted in at 50 and the coyote is at 100 yards. It was the same situation if I sighted my rifle for 100 yards and the coyote was inside of 50 yards. Same friggin' thing/a miss!
In order for a scope to work properly, your scope must be mounted 1 1/2" above the bore. Anything more than that and you are zero'ed at that specific distance and you will miss at any other distance.
You cannot zero an AR with a handle with a scope. The shooter used a red dot, according to what I have read, so that's a different scenario. Maybe?
But it doesn't involve windage, so I don't know what the hell you are talking about?

WWW! I hate to admit it but I also watched the entire hearing....nothing better to do, I guess?
I watched the last 45 minutes of the hearing this morning.
Two things. First. We learned NOTHING! Director Chettle is a stubborn bitch. She listened while about 40 members of congress called for her to be fired and demanding that she resign.
Near as I could tell, she did not provide a single fact to the committee that they did not already know. She sat there, damned near unblinking, and not a single insult faxed her in the slightest!
The only other opportunity provided by the hearing was that a number of Democrats screamed from the roof tops that AR15's should be outlawed for citizens to possess. It's incredibly easy for a 20 year old dink to obey an impulse and attempt to take out a candidate for president of the US.
Therefore: citizens should have zero personal protection. As near as I am aware, we are the only country that has the freedom to own and possess semi automatic rifles. There is a situation in Canada where they wink and pretend that they have the same freedom but they are supposed to actually turn them in to be locked up. Same applies to any type of handgun. So, do not be fooled in thinking that Canada has similar laws and freedoms. They do not.
Getting back to the question, this ugly bitch with the wart on her nose is what I would call defiance. She is protected due to a personal friendship with "Doctor" Jill. She has her job only because of her personal relationship with our First Lady. This carries some weight, but I do not believe it is enough weight for this incompetent female to keep her job. And there goes her quest for a 30% female personnel in the Secret Service. Other than DEI, I can't think of a single valid reason for her desires?
This is the same motivation of or by feminests to populate many fields that are occupied by men, and for very good reason. Women can do many things. They can do some things better than men. They can do some things just as good as men. But, THEY CAN NOT TO SOME THINGS JUST AS WELL AS MEN CAN DO THEM. This is basic laws of physics and nature. So, do not force me to have to repeat this; girls cannot protect important members of governmnent as well as men can! Do not feel bad about that simple fact of nature, men can't have babies either. There are a few that have a hard time accepting that fact, but it's been true since the beginning and will remain so until it's all over, whatever you call it, the Rapture or the Day of Judgement, whatever! Accept it as unalterable fact.

I wish I had the ability to get a question in the hands of a committee member to ask raskins which weapon is responsible for more homicides....AR style rifles, actually, all long guns or, hands,feet and fists. They are attempting to convince their troops that Kamala is far more popular than the Orange Man and has many accomplishments under her belt. She is after all, the "Border Czar" for the past 3 1/2 years, and look at how successful that has been for her. Yes, they really think round heels Harris has many qualifications to be president of the United States. Yes, of course that is silly nonsense.

I don't follow news much but now I see the kid fired 8 shots at trump, yeah, he must have been using mini-14. And I see the sniper that did the deed looked right at the kid then looked away and then fired shot after kid shot. I'd say the kid had lots of help on that back stabbing deal. parents probably set for life.

My sources tell me that our little dink always had his disassembled AR15, it was photographed with his bike disassembled in his back pack, until he scouted his access then he got it and was photographed walking around the back of that building that was outside of the "perimeter" for some asinine reason.
Apparently, after the first 3 aimed shots, the last 5 were just sprayed into the crowd and then either one or two counter sniper shots took him out.
I don't know how this kid figured it would end any other way? But, he had apparently been watching enough MSNBC to have acquired enough hate that he didn't think it over all that well.
There could be many creeps out there that have been conditioned to hate Trump but not that many didn't think it through to where they could actually get away with it.
Here is the problem. Our EDUCATION SYSTEM HAS BEEN CO OPPED BY RADICAL LEFTISTS. The faculty of damned near every university in the country is PINKO COMMIE to the core and they have been getting away with indoctrinating our youth for many years. Just look at the sudden Pro Hamas crowd that has been burning US flags and waving Palestinian flags and acting like the useful idiots they are.
Until we clean out the infestation within the education system, we will continue to have major problems. We are raising a second generation of confused ideologues with just enough knowledge to cause major trouble. But, since everybody needs higher education these days, and Biden has made that education FREE, we will continue to have these riots whenever the cabal has an anti American issue they need to enforce.
It sucks!
