I try to find good things and inspiration, where I can. Which now days is difficult.
As I trekked westward. I've discovered a bunch of em' have settled here. They hail from Kansas & central valley Kalifornia and such.
I've never delt (sp) with more polite people in my life. While, I may not share there exact views on things. Despite the fact they are so simple and plain. It's odd ? they have provided me some inspiration.
I believe there's some thing's we could all learn from these folks.. [ April 02, 2016, 10:14 AM: Message edited by: Dave Allen ]

Very interesting. I'm sure I have never met or even seen one of these people, but they sound like they would make good neighbors.
Yeah, sudden thought, between a Mennonite or a potential radical terrorist (you know who) I think I would pick a Mennonite with two seconds consideration!

Kind of an interesting story. When we 1st looked @ this place, they had let things kinda go in terms of weeds.
We bought this place from an LDS couple. I guess he was out of town a lot & probably just didn't have time to take care of 1.75 acres.
When we came back a few weeks later, it was all cleaned up. The Mennonites from around gathered up about a dozen boys and pulled and burned the weeds.
Heck there was a goat shed and pen out there, I didn't even know about !!
Speaking of which, I better get after it again. Spring is here & everything is growing like crazy !!
