What's this `we` shit, Pilgrim ????

It's hard to believe that the idiots elected him once, but to state "I'm not voting for a damn Mormon / I'll vote for the muslim instead" and elected him again ??????

America has Putin's bitch for a President.
Makes me want to puke.

Who's WE, Kemo Sabe?

I read the comments. There is no hope. People actually believe that the only solution is bringing "refugees" to America. And, yes, what about the number of fighting age men in the mix? One that landed on a Greek Island a month ago was tanned and rested enough to murder people in Paris. What are the odds, right?

I saw an email a short time ago with photos of a gazillion white tents in Saudi Arabia, yet no Arab country has been taking in these people?

It's just like Dearborn, Michigan. City Council 100% Muslim, and moving towards Sharia law. Assimilation? You must be kidding? No, forget honest jobs, look at the Somali's in Minnesota. Gee wiz, somehow they scrapped together enough of our tax money for trips to the mideast where they learned stuff like bomb making and then came back to Minnesota. Nothing suspicious about that; hey vacations, etc.

Why support these people when others won't? Why take the risk? They have already plotted. Anybody remember the Boston Marathon? They requested political asylum, were on public assistance, yet traveled freely back to where they claimed that they were persecuted. And, came back with lots of cool ideas for making bombs.

We already have too damned many new Democrats. They represent no advantage, there is zero benefit coming from accepting questionable, unverifiable, suspiciously young male refugees. Apparently, we provide them with sufficient cash so they can buy the AK47's they are more familiar with?

Background checks? Don't make me laugh! Same as the vetting when they get off the boat. Impossible! With a straight face, Obama's people say they are well vetted. SURE !

Liberals have completely fucked up this country! People making decisions are so blinded by ideology they can't see obvious problems and dangers involved in resettling total strangers.

It's been a few years, but the Hmong people that came here and settled in central California and Wisconsin and other places. They sure have different ideas on game laws and property rights. One of them trespassing and hunting on private property managed to kill 6 or 8 innocent people, as I recall?

That's just an example of these people with absolutely no intent to assimilate and engage in American culture and values. Shit, they don't even like us! They know we are just bleeding heart Liberals, or suckers=same thing.

I think a slaughter of 129 and wounding 350 is going to happen here and the Democrats are helping in every way possible. It won't matter. By the next news cycle, it will have blown over: OLD NEWS !

Weez Fuked!

edit: and don't worry about those poor refugees with no place to go. I'm sure Jerry Brown will step up to the plate and....
DO THE RIGHT THING ! <puke>

Fact is Over 2950 Syrian muslims have already admitted to the USA. http://cnsnews.com/news/article/patrick-goodenough/syrian-christians-are-greatest-peril-least-likely-be-admitted

Almost 4 times that amount has been admitted to Canada. Lets recall history America after pearl Harbor we put Japanese in camps. Not to be cruel or inhumane but to protect the better good of the nation.

Because of the separation of Church and State we do not know in the slightest whats going on in the 2,106 Mosque around this country.

These are not Japanese that had honor and dignity in the war, these radical muslims hiding in the shadow of the muslim fate are hatred people set on the annihilation of christians.

Furthermore what we have is not hundreds attacking the world, its 6 to 12. How long before we have another 911? Especially with all the bowl games on the horizon?

And thanks to our President we cannot legally carry our weapons into such public places.

quote:
We should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birth-place or origin.

But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an American and nothing but an American. If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American. There can be no divided allegiance here. . . We have room for but one language here, and that is the English language, for we intend to see that the crucible turns our people out as Americans, of American nationality, and not as dwellers in a polyglot boarding-house; and we have room for but one soul loyalty, and that is loyalty to the American people.

That's what Teddy Roosevelt had to say about immigration way back in 1919.

I am only a 2nd generation American on my mother's side, and was about 5 months away from being a 2nd generation American on my dad's side.

My folks could not speak English when they started school in the late 20's...they were forced to learn English, but kept the German culture they grew up with. In listening to my 92 year old mom, her parents were adamant in learning English.

I am a firm believer in keeping your traditions alive, but assimilation must happen to keep the USA the USA.

Unfortunately, our leaders don't believe in what our nation stands for anymore, and think it is perfectly fine to allow non-assimilation.

We are turning into the United States of the Offended... [Mad]

In California, we have an interesting situation with emigrants from Mexico. First and second generation, and still no English language skills. I have talked to a number of them, and their attitude is that their kids must grow up and understand first, Spanish. It's a pride thing and they believe the school should teach the kids english. This is fine and all that, they are practically assimilated but the Mexican pride thing with their heritage.

What they don't understand is that ALL those kids are held back while the teachers teach the Hispanic kids english. Sure, they have to do it but while a lot of progressive people are teaching their kids the alphabet and spelling and addition long before they get in Kindergarten, suddenly, they are wasting their time while the Hispanic kids get up to speed. Not EVERY Mexican kid, of course, but enough to create a burden, to the point that school districts actively recruit teachers with Spanish language skills.

So, semi-assimilate is better than nothing, I guess? But Teddy was right!

I couldn't believe it when he got elected for the first time but I was/am amazed that he got reelected even after he showed us what he was the first time. I blame the Republican party establishment and the way they treated the Paul supporters and conservatives. But I have to wonder about the millions of Republicans who stayed home and allowed him to be elected and reelected in the first place.

Paul....we're all sitting here doing nothing about it because the only tools available to us aren't really in play. We elected people to be the opposition party and they betrayed us as well breaking every campaign promise they made. Seems Republicans don't care anything about the country or the people who put them in office but care deeply about the big donors who keep them there.

It seems that if it's a bad deal for America Obama supports it. And there are a lot of self loathing people out there who seem to want the destruction that comes with it.

Kind of weird.

Us old fogies reminiscing about the good old days. I will take 1950-1960 America in a heartbeat!

Just think about the "progress" since then, I'm not even going to list it point by point, but BFD, we got cable TV and cell phones. Look at what we have lost. Boy, we really need to pat ourselves on the back for electing a black President! There's progress for ya.

I have probably said this a hundred times but, I really believe it. I do not envy the world my grandchildren will live in.

Good hunting. El Bee
