Dave, I've been following your search for a new casa, Hopefully the timing will work out in your favor.
Last year I looked on line at a couple of places in Baker City but pussed out when I saw the avg winter temp, hell I can freeze just fine here in okie & oregons game dept isn't near as friendly these days, seems they're trying to turn hunting season into a profitable enterprise . Hopefully Idaho won't get as greedy.

Well, living with my MIL right now, so far so good. Hopefully be in the new place in 7-10 days.

I hear ya on Baker, Mike. My daughter goes to college right up the road in La Grande. We tossed that area around pretty hard, in the end, just couldn't find work without waiting for who knows how long ? another thing about Baker is the wind !!

Long story short I turned down a job in Madras about a month ago, as much as I LOVE Oregon, ultimately the politics and game laws are keeping in Idaho..I hate Boise though..Lol
