I am pondering the debacle of Obamacare and the lies promoting it. I don't think there is any question that this administration is anti-American.
I was never comfortable with Facebook, or Twitter. Just recently got a smart phone because there is really no other choice and am considering giving up my landline which I have had for 39 years.
If "they" can tap the phone of heads of state with impunity, they can do anything they want, including lying about it. The average chump is defenseless. If they want to punish you, you will be punished and they will come up/fabricate with a list of offenses that will cause your own mother to disown you.
This is truly The Brave New World. The far best thing for this country would be if we somehow "lost" our Dear Leader. How have we become so friggin' stupid as to allow what is happening here? Can you find ONE single Democrat that is willing to tell us the truth? They all drink the Koolaid and are completely brainwashed.
I really think they won't be happy until the Republican Party is destroyed and outlawed. It's communism. They would be content with a one party system, which pulls their pants down and shows them for what they really are: socialists, fascists and full blown red communists.
Obama is the worst evil ever to have been visited on this country. I know some of you are weary of political stuff and in some respects, I can't blame you. But, you have to understand that these people are dedicated and while you are blissfully ignorant, they are working night and day to achieve their political goals, and none of us will like what they want.
So it's like this. I watched a show about Charles Krauthammer a couple nights ago. Why he gave up a carreer as a Harvard trained Psychiatrist and became involved in politics. He said it was abandoning individuals and focusing on the greater good...something like that.
So, if those of you who are tired of the politics would bear with me, you have to understand that our way of life is being threatened as never before, and politics is all about our guns and our hunting. It has to be that way, OR WE ARE DOOMED
Good hunting. El Bee

I've been wondering who we can run against the forces of evil in 2016 and Krauthammer is at the top of a pretty short list. The man has a subtle way of making sense.

I don't know who can beat the libratards anymore. I thought BO didn't stand a chance against Romney but I was totally wrong. The average guy on the street isn't the same average guy on the street that we had 15 years ago. The average guy on the street wants something for nothing instead of a good job. Like Koko said "...this is just foreplay". The real screwing has yet to start.

Leonard, you're post was well written. I couldn't agree more with what you said.
This administration is evil, call me crazy ? that's how I feel.
America is slowly starting to wake up, it may be too late though. We have three more years of this, perhaps we've just seen the beginning of whats yet to come ?
I hope not. [ October 29, 2013, 06:36 PM: Message edited by: Dave Allen ]

Its done....at least as we knew it. The problem isn't Obama, its the throngs that elected him and turn a blind eye to what is happening. The problem isn't the web site, its the ACA as a whole. The majority of our population looks at our leaders as some sort of royal family, instead of as replaceable day help like our founders intended. Close to 50%(if not more) of our population receives something from the gov't, weather its a hand out, subsidy , guarantee or stipend; and they won't give it up.

He bought a ton of votes with obama care, now he is looking to buy votes with "immigration reporn" er "reform" we working folk are fucked. Our only hope is obama care failing. and the thing is I have no beef with poor folk getting health care, I have a beef with forcing me to pay for me and them too. Carl

Guy is a giant, lying douchebag. Always has been. Said he was going to do this and that (all of which required additional spending), and never increase taxes or the deficit. And that was in the first campaign. As unlikeable as I am, I'm pretty sure I could get real popular with certain folks if I was given a never ending supply of gift cards. Hell, TA could get elected if he had enough swag in the goody bag.

To Geordies points, I would only add, my opinion, the only difference between the Republicans and the Democrats is that the Republicans tell lies tailored to pander our interests. They aren't any different. They aren't any better. They just tell lies that sound better to our ears.
End of the day, they serve only their own interests and are the same fucking scum. Anything that Obama does that makes you sick, Republicans do the same fucking shit, just carefully crafted to make our side cheer and the other side sick. Then they all go to the strip club together and laugh about us "suckers".
I hate the Republicans only about one tenth of one percent less than the Democrats.
And no, I don't have an answer or a solution. Just don't believe any of the bullshit "our side" tries to feed me any more than I believe Obamas bullshit. It's ALL bullshit. I don't have a side, actually, have never registered either Republican or Democrat. Just glad I won't live long enough to suffer the end.

Here's the thing. What Dave said may be reality, depressing as it may be.
However, I am a single issue voter. I have to side with Republicans because their lies seem less oriented towards taking away my guns. That's my issue. There is absolutely, positively no doubt that the Democrats want to control, register and confiscate my guns and invalidate the Second Amendment.
That's it, plain as day. Even if it's that one tenth of one percent, I have nowhere else to go. I have never voted for a Democrat and never will. And, for a hell of a lot more reasons than guns, but when it comes down to it, that is a reliable indicator for everything else they stand for.
Oh, and for the foreseeable future, voting Libertarian is throwing away my vote.

Dave: I do believe there are some Republicans that are better. Unfortunately, I have a Senator that makes your statement very true. Just yesterday I got an email from Ann Colter titled these Republicans made Obama Care possible. The first one listed was my States biggest RINO John McCain. I wasn't a fan of Kyle either BTW. I'm not sure about Jeff Flake who replaced Kyle because I haven't heard anything about him.
I'm with Leonard in that I am a single issue voter. Without the second admendment, we have no rights and no way to resist tyranny.

Both sides play the same "dirty pool". As Leonard mentioned, my vote goes to the lesser of the two evils. Which, in turn, perpetuates the power struggle thats tearing the country apart. These corksoakers draw a line in the sand and make us literally choose a side by dangling our Freedoms and free shit like carrots on a string. Fuck'em both for putting well meaning folks in that position. They keep us fighting each other while they continue on doing whatever the fuck they want "in our best interests"
BULLSHIT
What this country needs is a crop of free thinking, non partisan, common sense Patriots to stand up, BE HEARD and break through BOTH party lines to where a voice of true reason can be acknowledged without being smeared by either 'side' in the process. Ain't holding my breath, though...

I keep thinkin' that part of the problem is the fact that the politicians do what they have to do to maintian thier position in power, INSTEAD of actually doing what thier constuients want? they all speak the language of the day to the crowd of the day, and that language changes as the crowd changes. They, the "career" politicians are in it to serve thier own self centered political positions. The whole lot of 'em are as crooked as they come, with lier in chief leading the way

Aznative - Flake is following in McCain's footsteps. He voted to move the gun bill out of committee, although it was later defeated and he also voted in favor of the immigration reform bill. He is as much a RINO as McCain.

The state of Michigan has two "stellar" democRATic senators of its own, levin and stabenow. These two POS excuses for human beings would screw their own mother for a quarter.
The ghetto welfare RATS Detroit keep them in power. After all, those two dirtbags keep the welfare checks, phones and other freebies flowing to the shitthole known as Detroit. And we, the people, have to pay for it all.

Well, haven't you heard? The public employees union is claiming it's all a lie; Detroit has plenty of money. Yeah, they are counting on your money and my money to bail out the mayor and city council who keep giving away our money to those people that wouldn't know a day's work if it slapped them in the face.
Sometimes I have to try very hard to suppress a feeling about the welfare class in those inner-city ghettos. And, when I see decent responsible black people, it's such a refreshing experience you just want to shake their hand, if it wouldn't embarrass them, which it probably would.
But, on the other hand, I am so fucking tired of the commercials on TV. No matter what, there must be black people in the commercial and if so, they have to be the boss, the doctor or the smartest person in the room. Well dressed, no hoodie and impeccable diction. Opposed to the clueless white person receiving the advice. And, I am very conscious of DAA's friends and acquaintances. I just wish very much that I had a few, but I don't.

Thanks for the heads up about Flake JP. That is good information during the primaries. I wish we could get a real tea party conservative Senator. A lot of people thought John Kyle was a conservative but Kyle voted for the Clinton assault weapon ban. I don't fault DAA at all for his views because all of these ass holes deserve it.
I'm basically a Libertarian who votes for Republicans. If I ever see a Libertarian who actually has a chance, they will get my vote. However, I'm well aware they will be neutered as a Representative or Senator since they will never sit on a committee seat let alone become chairman to a committee. I do have some issues with Libertarians regarding some of the crazy drugs they would legalize but the Feds should not be involved in these issues. These issues are supposed to be left up to the states according to our constitution. We are suppose to be a Republic consisting of 50 democratic states with each state running its own version of Democracy. I believe the states should have the right to control drugs as they wish and the Feds should stay out of it.
What really gets me is the Feds controlling drugs like testosterone. Shit us men need T but yet the Feds have it listed as a controlled substance. Talk about over reach. If the NFL, NBA or any sanctioning body wants to ban it from its players, fine let them police themselves; but a fucking federal law. That is a ton of federal BS IMHO.
