The August recess is upon us now is the time to contact your local representative this bill must be stopped before irrevocable harm is done to what's left of this country.
Contact you local representative and if you can attend any town hall meetings , they must know that we are serious.
Don't act ,don't bitch , you get what you work for.

You are right Paul. I will contact David Schweikert and Jeff Flake. However, I find it hard to even bother contacting the leader of the RINO herd our not so good Senator John McCain.

As I recall the bill has already passed in the Senate. With both of our Republican Senators voting for it. It is now up to House. I have stopped writing to McCain many years ago as I consider him a Democrat. Flake had my support and money but not anymore. He voted to have the gun control bill reach the floor for debate when it could have died in committee. Now that he voted yes on the immigration bill I can no longer support him. I sent him a letter shortly after the vote and told him so. I closed the letter with campaign like a conservative, vote like a socialist. Have yet to hear back.

Paul, I agree with you and have written every Rep here in Az. Our district has a bleeding heart Rep, Ron Barber (D) who is for open borders and amnesty. However I have written him, called his office and even visited his local office here in Sierra Vista. He will vote yes in the House. I have also written to all the Az rep.

Legalization of the 20 million illegals is a forgone conclusion. I happen to have $1000 dollars I'll bet you to prove the strength of my conviction.
Nothing, let me say that again so its crystal clear in your brain, nothing you can do will change the fact the 20 million illegals will be made legal.
The powers that be want it that way, even if it's against the wishes of the majority of Americans. Time and time again this has been proven in the creation of American law. It's hard to fathom but the politicians don't so much serve the people as they serve their media masters.
Here's a copy of what I wrote on another board explaining what needs to happen if we, as Americans, are to stop being manipulated by the media:

I think most can see the effect of media bias on this country. Americas decline is almost inevitable because of the destructive effect of a media gone haywire. There are many media driven causes driving this country to ruin.
For example: This country has never been pro gay. I saw with my own eyes the gradual promotion of gay rights by the media in this country. There's been a slow and gradual approach by the media to make this lifestyle acceptable.
Sitcoms, movies, newspaper articles, in short, media driven propaganda has slowly altered many people's thinking that gay behavior is acceptable. The point I'm trying to make is this idea did not spring from the masses naturally. It was inculcated thru numerous media influences. This type of manipulation by media is destructive and has to be stopped.
To achieve this end there needs to be some changes to the concepts behind free speech.
What I propose here is an "Enhancement" to free speech.
To wit:
The power of the media needs to belong to the people. I don't mean the few, the ultra rich, the politically connected. I mean the people at large. The content, bias, propaganda (whatever you want to call it) should not be in control of the few. Like an oligarchy or dictatorship, America is controlled by a mediaocracy which is controlled by the few. This is unacceptable to a free society!
The power of the media is so great that no one special interest group (take that to mean the ultra rich, a particular religious persuasion, political view, racial bias, etc) should have control over it by virtue of their money or influence.
The only way to achieve that is to make the mechanical apparatus of media funded by government while at the same time making the content of the media controlled by the people. Any resulting profits from advertising can go back to the people to support any number of social programs.
Draw, from the people, a body of persons who have control over content of the media. A group of people who control content by consensus. This group of people can not be elected into their offices as elections can be manipulated. The controlling entity needs to be drawn from the people by lottery. This would make manipulation of the process of selection completely random and outside the control of anyone who may have an agenda or an axe to grind.
By lottery a group of people can be selected from each state, say 500 people. That would make 25000 people drawn from the populace by lottery. These people would then make up what could be called the "Freedom of Speech Bureau". These people would set policy and control content of media to ensure representation of the peoples viewpoints. Each person within the "Freedom of Speech Bureau could serve a two year term staggered in such a way that turnover would be gradual so as not to impact continuity. Of course these particulars can be modified to make things workable but I think you get the idea.
This is well within the intent of the founders who held freedom of speech sacrosanct. This is an "Enhancement" to freedom of speech as now the society at large is represented instead of the few media elite now in control of the message. Our founders never envisioned a media controlled by the few with ill intent to the extent we see today. This media power has to be broken if we are ever to be truly free and free from MANIPULATION.
Another important aspect to restore our founders representative intent is to repeal the 17th amendment. This would bring control of our government back to the local level and remove the power of the current media over who gets elected to the senate.
The whole idea is to remove control over content, and thus the ability to manipulate, away from the current elite who control the media and put that power back into the hands of the people.

jimanez, I'm trying to teach, or enlighten. It helps to get past any personal bias and try to see the merits (or lack of them) in an argument (discussion).
The surest way to ignorance is to let your personal hatreds and bias blind you to the insights of others.
I'm not the enemy. The enemy is ignorance. We all should learn from those who came before us. If you look away from those teachings you remain....well, ignorant. That is not meant as an insult but rather as call to engage, think, understand, and then take action.
Don't let your personal biases blind you to other people's arguments and insights...even if you don't agree with them.

OK, guys, I stand before you willing to be enlightened.
Tell me about how we, as American society, have progressed and why we will continue to be the greatest society man has ever created?
Tell me how we are going to be a great society in the future with homos in our Boy Scout troops?
Tell me how we are going to be a great society with unchecked illegal immigration of Mexican idiots who don't share our values of freedom?
Tell me how we are going to remain a great society with increasing immigration from muslim countries?
Explain to me why and how you know all this and make me understand your wisdom? Show me by your knowledge how stupid I am.

Hell Frank, everyone here knows that if we canned the coon, closed our borders, cut off foreign aid and stopped the giveaways we could recover almost overnight. I could do a much better job than uuuh uuuh uuuh whats his name. The only active liberal here spends 90% of his time arguing with himself, so don't lump us with him. I have said before that I have NEVER voted for a democrat, and have been voting since Nixon was elected. If you are aware of any liberal Republicans, maybe you can enlighten me/us here and we can debate the amount of shit in our Depends.
