I am completely appalled at the amount of PM bashing that i have found in many of the previous threads!
Jeff Mock and Redfrog mostly, it is very concerning to me because they are human beings and they are the same as you and I. They hunt Coyotes, Wolves, Foxes and a multitude of furry critters,they have families and hold down well respected jobs.
What is wrong with us/you as humans, can we not see a soft side of everything these two individuals contribute to our daily lives and the lives of the loved ones around us? Are we so shallow as too stoop to name calling and degrading our fellow man?

I was banned for no reason whatsoever! Skypup continues to Cross Post on a thread called "Kudo's to TNVC, it was 24 pages long and .009 percent of the posts had nothing to do with TNVC, and then they started a HOG Heaven forum to post all of your Hog kills etc....This Jackoff continued to post in both, rule #6 in PM says absolutlely no cross posting (Unless you sleep or have slept with Jeff Muck! What a crock, my post lasted all of 5 minutes and then i was banned forever! I am in the process of hand writing letters to each and every sponsor on that website, it will take some time but will be well worth the effort!
Jeff Muck has already advised me against it, he stated that other have tried and failed, he can suck my Suppressed AR!!
Wanna know how i really feel about the people in charge of PM?
Just ask me!!

Just one point about "fooling a coyote's nose." You may, or may not know that I began fooling a coyote's nose more than 40 years ago, and things, (information) moves west to east slower than glaciation. This is not news any more. Misting works, if you know how to use it.
In any case you are in good company of many former PM members who were banned without reason, including me, and that was quite a neat trick since I was the administrator of PM, at the time. Of course, it helped that I was in Africa, at the time. Anyway, you should find a lot of support from those of us that have been abused in one way or another; in other words, you have come to the right place.

I sold my other camper and bought a Lance slide in with a slide out!
A buddy of mine has a nice lake North of Brighton and he has a lot of Bass, Walleye, Crappie, Blue Gill and Wipers!
Took out the new camper and ranger for a test run! Jimbo came out Saturday and fished with me Saturday night and Sunday!

As I recall, I got an email from Kevin (Terminator) on 5/31. In the email exchange, Kevin had copy/pasted old posts he'd dug up from here @ HM.
So, I didn't exactly steer him here, Kevin had already found those threads before he sent me an email about being banned from PM...
Just wanted to make it perfectly clear that I'm not fanning any of Kevin's flames here. Basically, I don't have the time, energy, or "give a fuck" to care to be associated with any active 'anti PM' online protesting anymore.
Same as I did in my email, I will again wish Kevin "good luck" in whatever he's trying to accomplish by diggin' this old crap up. I know what it feels like to get banned, but I'm MORE THAN OVER IT.
It is obviously Kevin's turn in the 'ban barrel', so he's surely entitled to vent about it. 100% understand that urge, I did the same thing! However, I just don't care enough to care about anything related to PM anymore.

You are correct on your statement(s) and if memory serves me correct? I did a Google search on Redfrog and that is how i found this site, i read many posts before signing up.
As Fred says above, it isn't worth my time nor anybody else to worry about a couple of Fudge Packers so it is time to let it go! I will save the time for more pleasurable things such as huting, fishing, camping, jetskiing and just hanging with friends!

You are a little off, JimM. Upland is in Southern California, about 35 miles east of Los Angeles, between Claremont and Rancho Cucamonga, north of I-10. It's a quiet suburb community of about 77,000pop. Nearest hunting, to speak of is east of Barstow, 75 miles NE.
But, I know Chico and Marin, where my daughter lives. 430 miles from here, a 7½ hour drive up I-5.

I have caught some pretty big sharks, eight footers, but blue sharks. It's not much different than hauling up an old tire. But a Mako is a genuine game fish, and I agree, that photo looks kinda like a Mako?

Yep that is a mako.
He went 150# even, on the scale, not big enough for tournament $$$, but a perfect sized male to take & eat. We also released a slightly smaller mako, about 110 lbs, he was a little devil on the rod!!! This one was kind of a pansy, but went apeshit when the gaff hit him.
The early summer shark migration is ON like Donkey Kong here! After bringing 17 blue sharks to the boat, we literally had to take our baits out of the water to keep from hooking them! There were 60-200 lb. "blue dogs" swarming in our chumslick, and they ain't tournament worthy to kill, so we try to avoid them beating up our rigs.
Like Leonard mentioned, blue dogs kinda just pull a bit, then sulk. If ya scale down the tackle size, blue dogs can be a pisser to battle though! But on 80lb standup gear, we pretty much jam the drag lever to FULL, winch them up, and cut 'em off. I was literally beating them in the head with a gaff pole to stop them from eating our chum bag...
On the other hand, a mako has got some serious power, and a thresher has 3x the motor of a same sided mako! A 200 lb. thresher will dump an 80lb. outfit like any big tuna, and a mako will jump more crazy than a marlin! And either of those two are quite an interesting & potentially dangerous critter to handle @ boatside...
RE-spooled four Penn 70s yesterday, and twisting up another two dozen rigs for this Saturday. Hope we got a big whiptail in our near future! Our fishery doesn't really hold many big (300+) makos, but threshers caught around here are usually 200-600lbs. When you hook a big thresher, may as well light up a cigar, cuz you ain't gonna see that fawker for at least an hour!

Also, you can see in the pic, we've got that purple devil stretched between transon cleats. Tail roped fast to the port corner cleat, and that meat hook in the jaw is tied off snug to the stbd cleat. The last thing you want is a (not so) dead mako decided to start doing the 'Macarena' in the cockpit on the ride home!!!

Shark fishing is kind of a 'messy' proposition, so we wear lightweight Grunden's slicks (overalls) and rubber boots to keep clean & dry while fishing. Then we can strip down and go in the salon without draggin' chum & blood all over the place...

I find it very Ironic that people (Some) post on a thread that deters away from the "Topic" of the thread and people/members are warned by the moderators that if it does not pertain to the original post it should be moved to the forum it belongs in.
Hence "This thread", your posts and 99.9% of the posts on this thread have absolutely nothing to do with "This thread".
Just one of my observations along with many other PM members that i have spoken with recently, if you read and research this thread as i have done, you will find that as stated above it has very little or nothing to do with Kudo's to anybody!
Personally i see it as more of an advertisement, i do find it a misleading thread for me and i am sure that new PM members will find it misleading as well.
Why does PM have a Hog Heaven, if i remember correctly everybody (except me cuz we have no hogs) was sold on the newest forum for Hog's yet you continue to post your Hogs on this thread and the Hog Heaven thread???? Double postings are not allowed per PM agreements.
If i were to kill a hog or coyote with a knife in the East at night would i post it in Hog Heaven, Night Calling, Knives, Predator hunting, Calling in the East this thread or all 6 above??
I am just stating the obvious and i am sure this will ruffle some feather's so maybe we could also add it to the Bird forum:-)
I and many other actual Night Hunters are/were fed up with the Kudos to Tactical Night Vision on PM. This guy posts everything under the Kudos thread and 99.9% of it has nothing to do with TNVC. 26 pages so far last time i checked.
PM added a Hog Heaven Forum which is at a whopping 2 pages long, this guy posts in both forums.

This guy does it daily and i decided to let some air out because it is more of an advertising stunt for the newbies that join the site one day and never get back on. You think PM has 40K + members?

I almost forgot abut this one -
I had received very poor customer service from TNVC on a product i had bought from them, it was a mount (Plastic) that i used to hold my Torch Pro Illuminator onto my AR. The piece cracked and no longer worked. I called TNVC and told them i need a new one which i bought, nowhere along the line did they tell me that it was under warranty so i ordered one and it was fine after that. then i decided to look at a new IR Illuminator because TNVC's did not have windage and elevation. I found a new IR at 1/3 the price and it had what i wanted. Windage, Elevation and great power! Just so happens that TNVC had sold this unit at one time and came up with their own IR and charged 3 times the price although it is not better but it sure is pretty!
Long story short, i voiced my concerns with Victor Di Coldsore and he told me if i was not completely satisfied he woud refund my money for the 3 times higher price IR. TNVC sent me a 3 day UPS shipping label, i didnt hear from them for a week so i fired another message off and in return i get a PM from Jeff Muck stating "Help Me Understand" Basically he got a call from Victor DiColdsore and he then overreacted sending me a stupid fricken message. I replied - Call me and he said "WHY" I wanted to filet him over the phone, he didn't call so i sent him this -
(From TNVC)We just got your package about an hour ago according to our shipping Dept. Sorry for a bit of delay for the processing, sometimes we cannot get to everything that fast.

So i decided to write a quick little note to Jeff!
Jeff,
A great judge of character is how you handle the things that don't benefit you.
Just in case you may have missed certain parts of the thread i decided to cut and paste a few of my compliments to Vic and TNVC followed by a blatant lie on a post from Victor. Also you stated a prepaid box was sent, they emailed me a label so i could put it on a box. Did Victor tell you they sent me a prepaid box? If so, Another blatant lie and you this is the guy you choose to do business with?
11 days on a 3 day package, and you want me to help you understand?
If only he (Victor) were so proactive in customer service/satisfaction as he were to look at the post and react by speed dialing you then maybe you wouldn't need to be involved in his poor business skills?
It is sad when you need to contact a member about something a "Sponsor" fails to respond on in a timely manner, i am sure you are a very busy man and you have more important things to do besides sticking up for TNVC. Just an FYI? People on your site may buy once from TNVC, after they do a little research they find that he has outrageous prices and apparently poor CS. Trust me when i say he is losing customers on your website. I know for a fact he is, and, most of the veteran PM night guys know to shop around for a better deal. They stay away from TNVC, ask him how his PM business is.
In sales if you get a good deal/ buying experience you will tell 3 people about it, have a bad deal/buying experience you will tell 10 people.

I had my PMs deleted by jeffy Muck himself to another person I sent to a website linked in my PM for a deal on NV scopes since tvnvc would not make him a good deal.
Its the way they work over there.....love us and say we are great or get deleted/banned.....hahaha

The underlying connection is conservative thought and the pervading effort to control guns by, the usual suspects Bloomberg, Obama and Soros.
First of all, most everybody here is into guns and hunting, often to extreme. Can't very well do a piece like Barry did because for most people here, it's basic, nothing new, as far as I'm concerned.
And, that is really the problem when discussing predator hunting. These members are too advanced to tell them much of anything, since the drill is well established.
One thing we could use is a few brave newbees asking intelligent questions. This usually coaxes the experts out of the bushes to some degree and we occasionally get a few nuggets.
I seldom risk insulting the members with "how to" stuff. Some of these guys have been around a long time and certainly know how to put a few dogs on the ground. Think about the experience. We have guys that kill a hundred animals a year in their spare time. What can I tell them?
But, while they are reluctant to spill their guts, sometimes an innocent question from a beginner will open things up and in that case, it's not Kelly Jackson trying to tell Vic Carlson how to hunt coyotes; it's either one of them with a helpful suggestion for a new guy with a problem.
So, in the meantime, I think many of these people know the things in their best interests and that's why the Member Forum is being used instead of the political forum down the page. And, a lot of them don't look any further than the first two or three Forums.
So. I apologize if you folks are not getting what you came for. But, I provide some guidance here and there. My function is not to do a bunch of instruction on how to kill predators. But, to be sure, if I can provide help for someone, I never hesitate to chime in with assistance.
But this Board is not; "ASK LEONARD". It's function, (provided by my expense) is for anybody to speak their mind on any subject, hunting related or not. That's it. How you use it is up to the individual, not me and not my responsibility. You guys want predator hunting, speak up. I can talk predator hunting with anybody, and with Barry; with one arm tied behind my back.

p.m. has how many thousands of memebers?? MANY.
i'm a member there and check in daily as i do here. if someone there post a picture of 5 dead coyotes. they are a hero and will get many inquries about tecnique/sounds used/caliber used.ect. with that many members, somebodt will eventually have a good day when things "click" and they have a good day.
we've all been there. we've all also had days when we can't buy a coyote. Lord knows i've had my share.
my brother and i called in 21 coyotes and killed 15 within a 7 hour period during a contest once. damn near took us to (hero) status. we wanted none of that and just knew we were in a great area with lots of coyotes/shot well.
i've also had some FULL days with good hunters (DiYi) when we've called all day and never seen a hair.
every single guy on this site can relate to this(cept Tim).
in a nutshell, i see exactly where you're coming from Leonard.
its great to get advice from some here that have been there/done that.
just wish they'de chime in some more.
seems like a "here today,gone tomarro" thing.
i don't know Barry (rockinbar) but he kills coyotes so i respect that.
anybody that puts up #'s of coyotes i respect to some degree.

Yes, I got laid. For three days, nonstop, and I'm all banged up because of it. I mean, the knees, the hips, (even Johnson) can't take that much abuse and I need pain relievers to sleep, (fitfully) at least half the night. It must have something to do with advanced age? Now, if I was getting it regularly, instead of cramming it into three days, pacing myself, I could probably get conditioned, like in training...ya know? Getting old ain't for sissy's.
