I knew nothing about this incident until almost 6pm central time when Kevin came by the shop. Came into the house and turned on the news. Started looking for better coverage online and found a series of pics of the incident, one of which was this picture, but with the bottom cropped off so that the actual trauma wasn't visible. Training and diagnostic experience in the field immediately told me that this guy was a "code red" trauma if for no other reason than the cyanotic appearance of his skin - the dusky color. He was bled out. Then, I found this picture.

This is the real deal, folks. This is what these acts leave behind. I once had a family from India on my mail route and they got a newspaper from India about once a week. What always caught my eye was that their media isn't a bit shy about publishing pictures like this - front page, above the fold, in full color. Their people aren't being coddled or sheltered from the reality of what these terrorists do to innocent people.
This picture shows a man whose lower legs have both been traumatically amputated. What you see is his bloody tibia sticking out with the mangled remains of his calf and other muscles just hanging there. This guy lost both legs today in this incident, if he survives it.
This could have been Islamists, it could have been North Korea, it could have been anyone. Time to run them down and take care of business.

Frank, sadly I hope they do look to and consider islamists. My guess is the direction of the commentary will skew toward domestic terrorism. If you take a quick spin around the www, you will find all the talking heads in the news are laying this ground work. Of course, they are adding in a sprinkling of right wing extremists, tea party etc.
Personally, I would start with Bill Ayers and make sure his alibi is solid.

I saw on one newscast that a man ran after and tackled a other guy, who was acting wierd, and supposedly started running away right before the blast. He was detained. He was a Saudi national.
Whenever your President starts out a speech by saying something like" Lets not jump to conclusions" he means "Please dont blame my muslim buddies".

I just got back from incident Response to Terrorist Bombing school last night.
They told us these animals use religion as a tool.
It was only a matter of time. Every time we let our guard down they strike. The best way to fight these people is too disrupt their network and kill the leaders. We can't let up on them.

HOLY SHIT!
I can't believe the events since I went to bed last night! I saw a report about a shooting at MIT but now apparently, that was the two brothers that killed a policeman?
Now, somehow they caught up with them and they hijacked a SUV and engaged in a shoot out resulting in the older brother, (suspect #1) being killed.
Apparently, they are searching door to door for the 19 year old brother?
Man, I am relieved to know these assholes aren't Americans. Why do we let these people in the country, educate them when they hate us? And, how in hell did they get these military grade explosives? The guns? Yeah, did they acquire the guns legally?

I have a feeling the second suspect is dead. News reporter stated he saw a crumpled up body on the sidewalk. Then the Massachusetts State Police SWAT team left the area. Sounds like it is over.

I stayed up late last night, caught up in the breaking news. Pretty sure I saw both of them dead. The older one looked to be wearing the same clothes as pictured in bombing photos. The other lifeless body was seen on a street corner near a mortuary, wearing blue nylon. I watched the police checking the body for weapons and IED's.
Only the older one was confirmed dead at that time (appx 0400est)

Well, the news media has gone off the rails. So many conflicting reports, the latest seems to be they are looking for a green Honda Civic in Connecticut. How in the hell did this asshole get away from the site of the shootout? If true?
I'm surfing the channels, no cohesive information and there is also a lot of tight lipped officials. I think they knew a lot more yesterday when they showed the photos and video. Mushrooms, you keep them in the dark and feed them shit.

They are from Chechnya, in which the predominate religion is muslim. The older bomber has made refferences to his religion,(muslim) on social media....sounds to me like they are muzzies?
They made and detonated home made bombs at a large gathering of American people, killing some and injuring many.
One could rationaly say; they were radical Islamic Muzzy terrorists....why the media won't say it, is anyones guess?

From what I have seen so far the Boston PD & Mass State Police are not one bit shy hunting these cocksuckers. If I could tell them anything it would be "flip the safety lever on your M4's 180* and do a mag dump on em".

The most puzzling thing about this are the comments from people close to them saying they had no clue. That's odd. Usually, the opposite is true.
Most often, people that are close to these types of loons say they had a weird feeling the person would snap. Or, when in high school, they were voted most likely to detonate a bomb amongst innocents or most likely to have a corpse or two buried in a crawl space under their home.

Fox mostly has quoted friends & family about the younger one. Very little about the older brother other than he traveled to Russia awhile back. Notice how little the news have mentioned "Terror Cell"?
