well, seasons about over however, me and the old man decided to give it 1 more go yesterday.
we were out at sun-up and he had a great spot all picked out. the back side off a cattle farm.
we donned the snowshoes and set out. we hunt together as often as we can in the witer and usually alternate on calling.. he did the calling this time and i went down wind bout 300 yards. after about 20 minutes. i looked over and seen him putting his call away so i got up and started walking back to the truck. took a glance his way and seen him walking farther out??.
ahh, i forgot he shoots suppressed and i did not hear the shot.
he seen 4 but only had 1 shot and what a shot it was. no furture explanation needed.

edited to add: was about 250 yards

Even a blind pig gets.....
That poor guy popped up at my first howl and trotted 8-900 yards non-stop then just peeks over the last rise. He made me so I shot.
