Below is a compendium of nice friendly banter from our MFK buddies. I have since heard that they take this road show all over the Internet, with similar results.

It's a train wreck, but you can see the self promotion, the intentional and admitted "poking" the whining about how we can't take a joke and it's actually twelve year olds in men's bodies. These guys really need to grow up. Fast. LB Read on~

(Jason)
I'm not real sure why some of you guys get your rocks off talking shit about them.
It's a controlled environmentI know, you're calling to judges and not coyotes, hell I'd rather call to a coyote, they usually know what sounds better, but it is what it is. Plus the prize money ain't all that bad either. I'd have to kill 500 of these damn VA coyotes to pay for what you win in one calling contest. My fur buyer told me he'd give me $5 bucks if I skinned mine and I'd just have to give them to him carcass for him to even fool with them otherwise.
Some of ya'll oughta show up. It's a good place to meet and hang out. I met Randy Shaw at the last one and hung out with him all weekend. Now that guy knows his stuff and I consider him a good friend! I ain't the killer that some of ya'll boys are and I'm the first to admit it, but I do alright in my neck of the woods and win bout every hunting contest put on around here as well.
I just hate seeing the calling contests being put down because they are a fun place to get-together, hang out, challenge your buddies to calling and catch up. It's just something else to do in the offseason but if you'd rather just sit behind a computer screen and talk shit, have it, I'll be in Waco though. Hell, ya'll might even learn how to make a call sing like I can! LOL I'm just messing with ya.

Believe me, I'm one competitive sum bitch and don't like to lose anything I ever enter. Like I said, I hunt every contest anywhere around me within' a 100 miles locally(10-12/per year) and usually win about all of them. I know it's not as prestigious as hunting out west and killing 10-15 per day, but you can only kill what ya got! If they ain't there, it don't matter how damn good ya are, you ain't gonna kill em! Hell I killed 5 reds on one stand on a contest here back in February and that is unheard of in my part of woods.

I've won as much as $3,000 on a good night. Usually 2 coyotes, a cat and 2-3 foxes will get you the win. I've been doing these since 2006 since they started, I missed the first one they had because I had never heard of them either but it didn't take me long to find out about it and start taking these boys money! LOL.

BTW, the Lewis and Clark guys have 7 hunts and at the end of the year invite the top 5 teams of the season by points back for the last hunt for the end of the year championship. I've been lucky and never lost that one! It's usually good $$$.

Jason is about as good a guy you will ever meet. I can tell ya, he's not that guy that brags or says "look at me". If anyone got that impression, I can promise ya it's wrong. If you ever met this guy, you'd see what I'm talking about.

Krusty, you left out the "LOL. Just messing with ya". Not just saying this because I'm on the team, everybody on the MFK team that I've talked with has been very helpful and kind. We all joke a lot and we're definitely smart ass at times but it's all in fun. You are right about us teaming up though. We are a TEAM, that's kinda the point. We back each other up.

Some of ya'll got the damn personalities of a rock and I guess don't know how to joke...We call them Yankees down here. I'd hate to live life with a broomstick up my ass all the time.
And Krusty, I guess you missed the LOL , and just messin' with ya in those comments. I've always thought you was a good guy on here and never had a problem with ya or ever tried to start shit with anybody. Just giving my opinion, not trying to start a fight by any means. Good thing ur in Northern VA, you wouldn't fit in too well down these parts. And also , when did you ever contact me to hunt with me??? I've never heard of you, talked to you and don't even know your real name other than on this board??
Relax a little bit fellars, you'll live a lot longer!

Also, damn leonard, you might as well go ahead and pull a Mock on me and ban me now if you feel that way.

Krusty, I guess just take it how you want to. MFK isn't Jason's sponsor. He is part of MFK (his name is on the label). Jason and all of us try to be cool with everyone, but sometimes it just ain't possible even when we try. Come down and see us if ya can, I'm sure you'll see we ain't too bad. We will be the guys insulting each other! lol!

"Jason. Amigo. I ain't banning you, but I don't like your smart ass mouth."

Leonard, I'm not real sure why you're getting so pissed and calling me a smart ass. I've been reading this board long enough to know that 98.7% of the guys on here are smart-asses, including me AND you, and that's why we are here and not on PM. They're too sensitive to handle it over there. Don't be so sensitive Leonard! LOL And be easy on poor 'ol Red, he don't get out of the house much with a new wife and baby and was just excited!

Don't recall much promoting going on HM from my end but my memory ain't the best. As for wisdom, I don't have too much in the area of predator hunting compared to a lot of the guys on this site, I just get lucky evey once in a while and get a coyote or two down a year. That's the main reason I don't post here much. Don't see much need in telling Michael Jordan how to make a jump shot. Seems like most of the guys here have their ways and it works for them. I usually just log on to read the back and forths for a laugh. As for the loudness in camp, if it really bothered you that much I apologize. I honestly though you were joking with your, "You guys sure are yucking it up over here" comment. I couldn't see you though because I was getting gear together. Quietly too. Guess I get a little excited when the sun is already up and it's time to go try to kill something though. Good news is that I'm 99% sure you'll never have to deal with that group in a camp again. Am I close to breaking the only rule?

Leonard, hope you brush off the yucking. I'll admit, I did have a little fun at your expense and I knew it was a matter of time before I got the boot. I'm honestly surprised I was even approved with that screen name and I'm surprised it took so long for me to be banned. I wasn't nearly as bad as some of those guys though. This is not an attempt to get registered so please don't think that. You were actually an alright guy for a grumpy old cuss and if I really offended you or your feel disrespected I sincerely apologize. I was just poking, admittedly just to poke. I hope your site remains the way it is and you allow people to speak their peace unlike PM, another site I'm banned from. That was their doing though. Good luck on future hunts and be safe out there.

RED"
That took some class for 'ol Red to send that after you canned his ass. He's about as good as they come. I think ya'll have a hard time distinguishing the good guys from the bad guys sometimes. I think he just thought it was funny that someone could get SO upset just from being woke up a few minutes early on "hunt" morning. I know if I'm going hunting, I wake up an hour earlier than the alarm clock. He's got a new baby in the last few weeks, so I'm sure he's paying him back right now for ya. I just hope he don't ban him to the woodshed or something for waking him up! LOL I hope you consider re-instating Red, he's a good guy and goes way out of his way to help out a lot of people. If you got to know him, you'd like him, just buy some ear plugs!

Leonard I don't no what MKF stands for, but from what I have read it sounds like a group of college kids. They sure are trying to impress everyone here. Reminds me of a hunting cd I was watching, every time the host shot some thing he would say (FRY CHICKEN BABY). He would jump up and down, pump his fist really ham it up. My wife ask me do you act like that, I told her in all my years of hunting I never seen anyone act like that. Most of this new breed of predator hunters is all about the show, not like the old days when you went out called them in shot them brought them home and skinned them. Got up the next day and did it again, the only one that new how many you got was the fur buyer and the land owner you were hunting on. Hell I even got to posting pictures of kills. Glad the old timers are all gone that show me the ropes, they would have kick my ass for acting like that. I guess its the times they're a changing, its a said thing to see.

Once in awhile one reads statistics on Obama speeches and he talks about himself alot (even if he is speechifying at a funeral). He's impressed with himself so much that he uses "I", "My", "Mine" and so forth constantly.

The venacular "I" was used 85 times in the first post of this thread.

It gets pretty damn boring fast when someone talks about themselves whether bragging or apologizing. JMHO.

Tom, my friend, those guys don't know enough to "get to me". In fact, I put the whole bunch on ignore a long time ago. It takes a lot to turn a TT roast into a feature about a couple of nobody's. I'll tell you one thing, waiting to get rich selling diaphragm calls is a loser. Besides it being a very small segment of the hand call market, if that's all you got, I don't see people going out of their way to acquire such a 'must have' product.

You know, I use diaphragm calls, and have been since all of those guys were in diapers; and I mean that quite literally. There was nothing in their videos whatsoever that made me sit up and order one or two. They might as well be trying to get rich selling perfect "straight pins". Meaning they are all alike, and if you know what you are doing, you can make any of them sound good.

It's just that all the bullshit, and bragging with this crowd just won't go over very well. So, they have to be rank amateurs to think everybody is going to give them the hero worship they crave. Wins hunt contests in Virginia, BFD.

I spared you guys from putting up with the me!, me!, me! bullshit. Don't I even get a thank you?

Good hunting. El Bee

I think the "MFK" thing is the slick nuts version of "Veni Vidi Vici". Maybe wrong but the 80+ I and me's sounds about right.
LB, i have felt all along that this is the best forum on the www. No one here is trying to push a bullet brand, camo clothes, etc off as being the best for any reason other than personal preference. Anyone and everyone here is capable of being "difficult", it's the hature of having an opinion. And picking on the shitheads at PM is just punishment for being the midget dicks they are. Fuckem, if they don't like what's being said here, go the fuck back to PM.

The thing I found funny was that to prove how great they are at coyote calling they say to checkout there facebook page and just see how good they are. Like the hero shots are proof positive that they walk the walk.lol Hell first off who gives a shit about facebook? Second I stopped taking pictures of every coyote I shot 15 years ago. On the rare occasion I do take a picture and/or post it, it is something special atleast to me.

Facebook is trouble waiting to happen. The world has gone insane over social media. I warned my kids, and warned my Wife to "stay away from Facebook". Did they listen to me? Nope. I joined facebook a year or so ago because FoxPro asked me to do so. It didn't take me long to find out that everything over there was nonsense, so I shit canned it and deleted my Facebook membership.

If you keep your page private and only have close friends and family as 'friends' it can be a good way to keep up with what's going on. If you let every stranger and Tom, Dick and Harry into your private life, I don't see the point.

Yeah, and did I mention the DRAMA? My daughter had a friend request from some guy she barely knows, (she's happily married for 22 years) and then she requested to be friended by him. Shortly thereafter, he unfriended her for some unknown reason and canceled his membership on her page. This caused surprise, doubt and worry, etc.

And, shit like that goes on every single day. What do you do if you get a friend request, and you take Chris S's advice? Just ignoring it can make an enemy. Damned if you do and damned if you don't.

Anyway, that's my take on it, reminding everybody that I never been there and don't really know a damned thing about it.

I have several family members who live on facebook, three generations worth. Every time we get together for Easter, Labor Day, etc they line up to scold me for what i have posted about them. I do not look at or post muchless have a membership on facebook or my space. I have to remind everyone of that multiple times at every family function i attend. If you want to keep a secret a secret don't post it, keep your mouth shut. Or if you want to say something to or about someone, tell them to their face or take it to the grave with you.

And according to the kids.... MFK is what do you want to do to someone you know or just met, Marry them, Fuck them, or Kill them. It is a Slick Nuts saying. Even the 40ish kids had to ask the Twentyish what it means.

Nothing private about face-book. If someone wanted to get access to your private page its not that hard to do, one of the ways is to just be-friend one of anothers friends that does have access..

Just look at what happen to one of the members here not to long ago..
