A while back Putin said "we are going to have a Democracy but not your kind of Democracy". He was referring to American style Democracy.
So, recently, he received a 5 minute standing ovation for the following............
February 4th, 2013, Vladimir Putin, the Russian president, addressed the Duma, (Russian Parliament), and gave a speech about the tensions with minorities in Russia :
"In Russia live Russians. Any minority, from anywhere, if it wants to live in Russia , to work and eat in Russia , should speak Russian, and should respect the Russian laws. If they prefer Shari'ya Law, then we advise them to go to those places where that's the state law. Russia does not need minorities. Minorities need Russia , and we will not grant them special privileges, or try to change our laws to fit their desires, no matter how loud they yell 'discrimination'. We better learn from the suicides of America , England , Holland and France , if we are to survive as a nation. The Russian customs and traditions are not compatible with the lack of culture or the primitive ways of most minorities. When this honorable legislative body thinks of creating new laws, it should have in mind the national interest first, observing that the minorities are not Russians.”
The politicians in the Duma gave Putin a standing ovation for five minutes!

One thing to keep in mind is Russia does not have American style media run by you know whom.

I've stated before that I have FAR more respect for Putin than I do obama. The above post only confirms that position in my mind.
I also strongly feel that Putin is less of a threat to America than obama is.
Somebody prove me wrong.........

It all boils down to what kind of society you want.
If you are stupid enough to follow the American media driven model, you will have muslims marrying your daughters and eventually dictating your life......just like in Europe.
You know the line...you have to be tolerant and accepting of ALL different cultures. That is until those other "cultures" turn against you..... like is happening in Europe (France).
Of course you, yourself, won't be around to see this new society in America as this process goes beyond the life span of any individual.
It is the American media designed path for American society which Putin rejects. God bless him!
It gives me a respect for Russians I've never had before.
