I saw this article in my online hometown newspaper. Apparently, there may be a coyote problem in the future. http://hamptonroads.com/2013/02/western-tidewater-aims-cull-coyote-population

We've had them down here in Fl for years. When they first turned up in numbers, there was some alarm as some little foo-foo dogs disappeared, but people have pretty well accepted the fact that they are here and here to stay. People still occasionally call in saying they've seen one or been frightened by one. We have some nervous nellies down hereabouts.

Hey Del;
Between the 'gators, the pythons, the wild hogs & the snake-fish I would think that coyotes would be the least of anybody's concern in Florida.
