YEAH, BUT. Since they are creative, and stars and are wealthy, shouldn't we listen to what they tell us? In their movies, it's not real, that's what they are trying to tell us. Every time they use a full auto machine gun, they are demonstrating how repulsive it is to slaughter dozens of people. Get it?
I didn't think so. They are self centered maroons, and they think, (no doubt) they have helped solve the whole problem by acting in a public service announcement. That's how you solve problems in Hollywood; makeup, wardrobe, hit your mark and say your lines. Case closed.
Meanwhile, they all have the most sophisticated, elaborate security systems money can buy. And buy bodyguards. Doesn't everybody? Why would you need a gun when you can buy all this personal security?
And, these "elites" manage to get concealed weapon permits that the average schmuck can't get. After all, when seconds count, the police are minutes away.

How's this for a plan??
(1) Outlaw `Gun Free Zones` because that seems to be where mass shootings tend to take place.
(2) Start teaching the concept of personal responsibility for ones personal welfare.
(3) More `Xena, Warrior Princess` reruns.
