Well Happy Halloween everyone. See what happens when an art teacher gets pested too much by his students to draw a Halloween picture. This is from my classroom demonstration last week. They might'a got a little more than they bargained for.

As good a likeness of Fruit Loops as I have seen.
They say all the truly creative people are left handed. True? But, you seem to favor right handed bolt actions?
But, that drawing reminds me of some old movie poster, can't quite place it, at the moment?
Good hunting. Lima Bravo

Most of my children are left handed. I favor my right for shooting and throwing, but I can draw with either hand. Sometimes just to mess with the students minds I will draw with both hands at the same time.

One of my favorite drawings is by M.C. Escher its of his hands drawing each other. Quite something. Nice picture Troy feels like 1950's movie material.

Kind of a Lon Chaney Phantom of the Opera look. Or most of us here four years ago when the Forces of Evil won the election. ![[Eek!]](eek.gif)

Despite being an Escher fan I've never really done anything like his work except for maybe this picture below. It's a little more morbid and dark than anything Escher ever did, but I still like the concept of the design. I drew it my first year as a teacher (meaning over 20 years ago). I had a very rough day with the student's and was pretty ticked off at them. That evening I went home and created my version of the teacher from Hell. I called it "Behind The Mask". For years when I taught high school I kept the picture above and behind my desk to remind the students that most days I'm a pretty nice guy, but get out of line and they'd meet the teacher from Hell pretty quick. Worked well and I've had very few problems over 2 decades of teaching. I no longer have the drawing on public display because I teach much younger students and it scares them too much. Kind'a miss looking at the drawing though.
