Okay, I admit, I didn't even leave the house Wednesday, in anticipation of the big debate. (not really)

But, although I had heard a little chatter about gas prices, I just tuned it out. Then, I went to Costco for a handfull of stuff, which cost $100.

But, anyway, I always gas up when I go there, it's about five miles away and their prices are the cheapest in town, or at least, as cheap as anywhere else.

So, I pulled in and there was all these orange cones and a guy right by the entrance and I asked him what was going on. He said they were out of gas and expected a delivery in an hour. Well, I had about a quarter tank and thought I would forget about it.

I went inside and, this is unusual for me, I was grabbing practically every sample I saw, in some cases, going back for seconds. And, I seldom sample anything, don't know why, and I don't know why I had this sudden change of heart; old age, I guess?

So, I got my shit and even stood in line and got a slice of peperoni pizza and a coke. Then wandered out to the truck and as I backed out, I glanced over to the gas station area to see if there was any cars at the pumps.

Yup, there were, so I said, what the hell, I will get some gas and drove straight over there and ran into traffic control, who I shouted at and said what's going on, is there a line or something? He said yes and pointed.

Then I noticed that the whole remote parking lot had a serpentine line of cars, weird that I had not noticed it before, but yeah, bumper to bumper winding back and forth and it took me some manouvering to actually find the back of the line, which wasn't that easy because everybody was bunched up and it was hard to get to where it looked like the back end of the line was.

Okay, not that it was all that involved but I did find the end and settled in for a long wait, listening to the afternoon John and Ken on KFI. 45 minutes later, I was at the pumps and felt victorious, since that was all they were talking about on the radio. They were reporting $5.09 a gallon in Calabasus for regular unleaded. Last I heard, and the last fillup, at this same station a week ago was just under four bucks.

Anyway, I bought $72 worth, @ 4.39 a gallon, unleaded. Didn't seem too bad, compared to what I was hearing on the radio. They say it is caused by electrical failure at the two plants in El Segundo and Torrance, I think? No explanation for the power failures, that I heard?

So, that was my big adventure, yesterday and I thought I would share it.

Lb, I was out in the granola state two weekends ago. Gas was higher there than here, thats for sure. Everyone I met and talked to talked about how tough things were economy wise. Jobs gone, little towns drying up and property values half of what they were several tears ago. Maybe if you wait it out long enough, the majority of people will move to Colorado and Washington, and you can have your state back.

Hey El Bee,
Remember the gas shortages of.......what???.....the Carter Admin???
Odd / Even????
The Lines????

Seems like Cosco would be a good place to hang out with a "Blame obama / Vote Romney" sign.

Ponder

Actually, yes. I have been thinking. If gas keeps going up, maybe people will connect it with dickweed and his incompetent administration and vote the cocksucker OUT?

I mean, how brain dead do you have to be to think; Hey, give the guy a chance to fix this mess he inherited from Bush. Gag me.

Good hunting. Lima Bravo

Minneesota? Ah, I'll have to think about that. It's another fucking BLUE STATE, ain't it? You guys are lucky that your queers move to Kalifornia, we get them from all over. People think it's in the air, but it's the climate that attracts Gays from everywhere. They ain't born here.

The prices of gas are preposterous.

I noticed my wife has been going to the MAC machine more often. I figured out it's because my 17 year old got his license last month, and she has been giving him gas money. Crap.

I don't know, 49? People in your bracket give their 17 year old sons an unlimited credit card. Cash has germs on it.

Good hunting. El Bee

With dickweed's foreign policy of kissing any and all Arab's asses, stopping the keystone pipeline, and zero new drilling on gov land, gas will be six bucks soon at a station near you.

Boy, when you talk about somebody completely out of touch, dickweed takes the cake. How can he not understand that gas prices and fuel is a commodity that everyone has to deal with, except somebody jetting around in Airforce One, on the taxpayers dime.

The price of gas in MI jumped $0.15 a gallon today. No one has any reason for it. Thanks again camel jockey in the white House.
