Several months ago, I made several references to a legal dilemma that our family is facing concerning my wife. I am still unable to address the matter in complete detail because the state of Kansas now refuses to dismiss the charges against her even though they have exhausted the 180-day speedy trial protections afforded her by state law.
In any event, my wife was essentially arrested because she went to a minor emergency clinic, then went to a pharmacy to get the prescriptions given to her by the physician's assistant at the clinic filled. Turns out the PA is a dumbass who wrote a synthetic pain killer on the script but when he was asked to confirm that he did it, he chose denial and subsequently gave federally protected private medical information that was inaccurate to the Popo who then came and tried to yank my wife out of a doctor's appointment and arrest her for forgery and prescription fraud. In short, their "probable cause" was that she admitted going to the clinic, then going to the pharamacy, where she presented a script that the PA says he didn't write. And neither did she.
Only one problem. Nick and Joe were allowed to review the officer's report and Nick had a buddy in handwriting analysis examine the script where the guy determined that all the writing of importance on the script, including the pain med, was written by the PA.
Oops.
Nick's, Joe's and another officer's opinions will be of great importance as we move to have the criminal charges against my wife dismissed and move forward in filing legal actions against the officers and their department and the PA and his employers for libel and unlawful arrest. I will be providing public access to a blog I've created that outlines the entire sordid mess as soon as the courts clear the wife. At that time, I plan on getting even with some beeotches.
Nick and Joe were good friends that provided me with great help at a time when we were very much in need.
Thank you!

What a mess. The sooner you can get this resolved, get some well deserved satisfaction, and put it all behind you, the better.
Stay strong.

This is the biggest crime drama to come out of sleepy Kansas since BTK!
Explain who the Bradshaw's are, strangers, cops, friends, or Media?
Good hunting. El Bee

OKay, good, Joe Bradshaw, either Hewlett Packard, or possibly Highway Patrol? In any case, a celebrity, like Kelly?
Good hunting. LB

Lance send me your wife address when she gets relocated so I can send her a Christmas card since you will most likely be to busy hunting coyotes....

We're getting closer every day. Been pretty much a bullshit ordeal to have to endure, and we have a couple thousand in lawyer fees that should never have even been necessary had the police done their job properly to begin with. But, that's why God made lawyers. There have been a LOT of little sideline issues that you'd never have dreamt of that caused us problems over the past seven months but, again, the depth of just how problemtic those issues were will be decided in court. I don't really want any money beyond what pays my lawyer bill and reimburses me the cash I had to throw into the pot to bond her out of jail. I want that, and I want the outcome of the post-game review to be very much public knowledge so that everyone involved - aspecially the LEO's - learns an invaluable lesson.
As I told our current lawyer, the lawyers can keep the cash. I just wanna make sure they leave a deep f*cking scar. I AM about vindication.
Just think about this for a minute, gentlemen. I have been called "an angry man" and asked why I insist on "continuing to kick sand in peoples faces? What the hell is wrong with (me)?" because it angers me that the police, representing the government, would have the balls to storm into a doctor's office and attempt to arrest my wife for something she did not do, and knew nothing about.
I'm upset that my wife was arrested and thrown into a holding cell with a bevy of drug-addled crack whores and left there, sick and in pain, denied of her doctor-ordered pain medication for six and a half hours.
I'm upset that my wife's picture was posted on the internet and her name and the charges for which she was arrested were broadcast all over the state of Kansas on the radio.
I'm upset that within three days, our entire family had been summarily fired by every doctor any of us were under the care of because, by their own admission, they'd seen her picture and the story of her arrest and did not feel it was of benefit to them to have a doctor-patient relationship with us "at that time" even though she hadn't even been arraigned yet, let alone tried.
And, I'm upset at the remarks that were posted online by trolls and assholes that don't know her and never will. My wife is as prim and proper as they come and her only vice is cigarettes. I haven't seen her drink a drop of alcohol in years, let alone drugs. Had any of those remarks been made in my company rather than anonymously on the internet, somebody would have gotten their asses beat down.
And this is just part of it. How would you guys react if this had happened to your wife and family?

Me? I would have probably done something stupid. LB

I would have probably done something stupid too.
I hope you get the vindication that you deserve.
My hat's off to you for your persistence in seeing this through.

I know a few Attorneys in this town who would LOVE to help. Only problem is that in this case, either the city Attorney, the County Attorney, or both would be targets. Finding any Attorney in your town who is willing to sue another Attorney in the same town (or county) would be tough. Now I only live across the big muddy from Nebraska Attorneys who WOULD take the case, so that is where I would be headed. Unlike Lance, I would sue for every nickle that I could get.
