Recently remarked to a friend that I had an idea for a pic to post online, such as Facebook. He told me that doing so would probably land me on a watch list or worse. What do you think? Have we gotten to the point with the First Amendment that an inference of fighting back is enough to garner negative attention?

The fact that I would have to think twice about posting this to social media is a sad testament as to the changes that have occurred in just three+ years.

BTW, just to show you where things are going, we tried to order 500 rounds of ammo from our supplier this past week. He's got a pending order of 15,000 rounds for just one customer that he needs to fill before he knows if he can get the components to help us. And this customer is just a regular guy like us, not a reseller.

At this stage, I'm still a little bit smug in proclaiming that I do not twitter and do not have a facebook account. Hell, I still use a flip phone!
Will I ever? I'm counting on the support of concerned friends. Hep me, hep me, I'm faaalllliiin'!
Good huntin' Lima Bravo

Well, I don't know what to tell ya..I don't want to run scared, yet, I am concerned.
Of course like an idiot, I use my real name, but does it really matter ? Dunno. I limit my posting to 3-4 different boards and have been trying to sorta' keep an eye on what I say..
As far as FB goes, I signed up 3 months or so ago, only to keep track of my teenage daughters activities. Long story short I grew tired of e-mail updates and friend requests and shit from people, I haven't seen or heard from in years.
Like Tim, I deactivated my account last week and couldn't feel better. I hate the damn thing.

Personally I don't see a problem with the pic. It might make a nice T shirt logo too.

I used this as my FB profile picture for a while and probably will again in rotation.
I used to be concerned about lists and the like as well. Then, in November of '07, I decided that if such lists actually did exist I and everybody else of similar mind needs to be on said lists. That way, just in case anybody ever starts thinking about doing anything silly, the length of the list just may give them pause.

It's too late bro..Since you posted this picture here it has been on
CNN

Then I seen a blacked out release from the C.I.A. with the picture attached.

Your pretty much done for so posting it on Face book wont hurt..
This picture pretty much sums it up..

On another forum, a guy who is in the military had someone steal his identity and create an account on twitter, then started posting bad things about the military or something on another forum.
Here's a link so maybe there is a list?
