Thanks, Chris. I read the comments in the article, the fear stuff, the Wardens will be and the stupid comments below.

Night hunting is very misunderstood. Don't know why?

Good hunting. LB

To hunt at night here in Az, one ended up needing a red light for the coyotes, a white light to see the rattlesnakes while walking in & a black light to see the scorpions crawling up your leg.
Dark & scary, indeed!!!! [Eek!]

Did you give it a go, Koko? My intended night hunting got thwarted by that inclement weather that rolled through around St. Patty's Day.

From the lack of reports, it seems Arizona coyotes STILL own the night.

Yes, they probably do, and the net gain is many sleepless nights for the wardens, no poaching arrests, because if there were any, you can bet we would have heard about it.

Good hunting. LB

I got out a couple of times & went thru the motions checking out the lights & routine and such. Didn't drop the hammer on anything but no big deal........by the time we can night hunt, the fur's no good. Then there's the fact that if a fox or bobcat come in, they're off limits. [Frown] So, while I'm glad that we have the option to call at night, I'm not overly excited about it. Seeing the eyes is cool but the negatives seem to outweigh the positives for now.
