First of all LB, thanks for fucking up a perfectly good cop bashing thread, it's the only time I get to talk with my buddy 49.
More importantly, are we allowed to post on Higgins board or will that get us banned?
I listened to all the stories from the great Higgins/LB war and then moved on, I chose to let it go and think the best of all parties involved, who fucking cares? A few do, obviously, and you do appearantly. I don't but I won't tip toe around the issue any longer......so.....are you going to be pissed if we post over there?
If you want to ban people who don't like you, so be it, that's your decision but lets be clear about it up front, if someone doesn't agree with you or like you are they forever to wander in the land of Nod?
Where do we all stand?
I think these are fair questions, yes?
And nobody sent me here to stir shit, I'm perfectly capable of finding myself knee deep in it without any help.

JD, I appreciate your concern and look, I have no problem with you or anybody else posting or generally contributing on other boards. Period.
What frosts my ass is threads started with a bogus Leo name or a post with the specific intent to trash me personally. And, you know, I am not a member and can't even delete the emails they send me, the notifications.
I find it very disappointing to read viscous attacks over there by people I have never harmed in any way, yet they excoriate me without mercy for banning some joker that richly deserved it. So, most of it is not because I had a problem with a member, it is because these petty members apparently have a problem with me for running this board the best way I know how. And by the way, there is nobody with more experience in doing this, than I.
No, I am forced to read those commentaries via email and discover that there are members of Huntmasters that apparently hate my guts? Well, in my view, I am allowed to get indignant when reading crap about me by someone I have never had a problem with, and this fits my definition of twofaced.
So, really, knock yourself out over there with my blessings. But, when you join the dogpile and condemn me for issues I have with a few truly evil people, real sociopaths and malcontents, then I don't think it is fair to me and I resent it.
I have not started any Fruit Loops threads, nor any Dan Carey threads nor any threads vilifying Higgins or NASA. I will admit to an occasional comment, but not out of context, I do not go out of my way to berate any of them regardless of what you may have heard.
But, those gang bangs over there and on desert hunter are direct, deliberate and intentional. Like That stupid little twerp Francome listing offenses without knowing a damned thing about it, and perpetuating damnable and outright lies. He doesn't know anything about what he is talking about, but that is no deterrent for that little prick.
Look, I like you and yet do not consider you any sort of ass kisser. You seem to be a standup guy and as I said above, I appreciate your concern and the balls to ask the question, in the first place.
But, you misunderstand my position and it is because of the dribble you are exposed to, over there. But, anybody that goes there and trashes me personally will offend me and although that is certainly your right to do this, I think it is understandable if I am offended by one of those people coming in here and abusing my hospitality. This is understandable, in the world I know.
Now, if I am not making my position clear, I want to know about it. I am far from an unreasonable man, regardless of what Dan says. ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

edit: by the way, I post on other boards. That is not considered a crime, that I know of? But, I won't register and post on Higgins pathetic board, nor Clever Gary's insane asylum. But, occasionally fairminded people that are outraged by the attacks make me aware of them.

LB, I don't know what has happened in years past that I missed out on, nor do I want to explore it but I do know that you threw down on Ken in a way that makes zero sense to me. I've seen the dogpiles, I've asked questions and tried to understand the history but I wasn't there so I stay clear of it but the way you acted towards Ken is shocking to say the least.
Maybe I'm sticking my nose where it doesn't belong but you DID dump a load of shit on the living room floor with those posts and this isn't ancient history. I didn't see where Ken said anything about you that wasn't an objective observation, did he dogpile you and berate you somehow......did I miss where he trashed you personally?
Do as you please but this does concern us all as you've put it out there in front for all to see.....my thought is that if you are gonna motherfuck someone like that then at least post up what he said or link to it or tell me where it is and I'll post it up and then the folks here AND there can decide for themselves if what was said was an injustice or not.
Just a thought.

I haven't logged in here for a spell, well yesterday, actually.
After reading the events that have taken place, it would appear that you shit all over, Ken.
Believe it or not, I stood up to Gary Clevenger and defended you a few years back. Looking back that would appear to be a mistake.
Sorry that you fell off the ladder, that suck's and could happen to any of us. I will not say anything behind you're back, that I wouldn't say..FTF..Ban me if you so desire, it's your board not mine, and could give a shit less.

JD, thank you for the suggestion but what I would like to make clear is that my message to him was personal as well a public and that I was not encouraging all interested parties to join in trashing this guy. I don't conduct these conversations via back channel when the thing that offended me was in public, on the Board. I have no intention of documenting the history so you and others can follow along, it is just between me and him.....okay, and about a dozen of his buddies on that other site that are always eager to point out my numerous failings as a human being. So, I don't need you to understand and support me and I want to point out that this is not the case with the other guy that requires all the "atta boys" he can get.
I got an interesting email this morning from someone very familiar with Ken's behavior for years, on PM. It seems that he was always the MR TOUGH GUY in the backroom volunteering to beat up people for a variety of reasons. Actually, about ten years ago, he said he was interested in pounding a few bumps on my head, which I ignored. But a while back he called me up and wanted to discuss something or other and I was polite and cordial but I did ask him why he had wanted to kick my ass for what was a mistaken reason, those years before. He said he didn't remember it?
Anyway, I have no interest in convincing you or anybody else of my valid reasons for what happened. Other than taking place on huntmasters, as far as I'm concerned, it is my business and I don't require approval or a posse to help and encourage. But, in contrast, he is really trolling the cyberspace for support and is currently jumping all over the only voice not backing him 100%.
So, that's the way it is. I don't have any more excuses or apologies. El Bee

I'm not trying to start any sort of war here, each man can suit himself with whatever action he sees fit. I'm asking some simple questions that I believe deserve an answer and I'm doing so in a fairly neutral and respectful way. I merely would like to see what Ken did to cause such a reaction.
Rich, you should at least try to understand what the thread is about before you post in it.

LB, I don't intend to jump on any band wagon and pat anyone on the ass.
You made some serious PUBLIC remarks about Ken, suggesting that he recently tore you to bits, I didn't see it.
You don't have to do a damn thing to convince me or anyone else to be on anyones side.
As far as the dogpiles go.....there hasn't been any for quite a while, of course there will be now, if you could show me where Ken deserved this I would gladly point it out to him in your defense if the situation called for it and he was dogpiling you for no reason but at this point all any of us have is you berating him for no appearant reason in a totally unrelated thread.
As you said, you don't owe an explanation nor do you need to win my support but at this moment all you would need to do to stop all this madness is show everyone where Ken was such a prick to you, I'm not talking about some misunderstanding from 10 years ago, I'm saying have this person who so graciously keeps the shit stirred with these email updates to show you and all of us what Ken did that warranted such a response.
Do as you please LB but if he is such a prick it shouldn't be hard to present the evidence.
I'm not trying to get you worked up nor am I trying to get banned or stir shit....I've asked the 64 dollar question and I won't ask it again as to keep antagonizing, it,s a fair question though.

Dave, nice to hear from you. I am impressed to know that you stood up to Gary in my behalf, even if you now regret it. I always appreciate support, and like Patton, I too have many faults, but ingratitude is not one of them. So I thank you very much for what you did.
At the same time, I appreciate, (and am saddened by) the news that you won't be participating on Huntmasters any longer. I fully support your decision.

I think you are right to let it go at that. I don't have much in the way of incentive or motivation in showing and convincing you. I thought I answered your concerns about posting on other boards, but maybe you wanted more illumination, which I can't provide as I am tired of the entire fiasco. Speaking from past experience on this subject, the reasons why Ken was banned was probably over some trite petty BS said in jest. Really, this is all quite laughable.
Leonard, why have you not learned from past experience that pissing off Dan and Scott can only lead to unpleasantries? I'd suggest going and signing up over at PHF and airing your grievances face to face instead of bashing them here where they cannot reply. The double standard doesn't fly well with guys that are on the fence, such as JD, Dave and I'm sure, others. It just looks juvenile.

Chris, I'm sure Scott and Dan can take care of themselves, no offense intended but I don't need you to speak on my behalf, I won't be called out to dogpile ANYBODY just because of hatred over past events, not by them, not by LB and not by you, I've made myself clear in this thread, I'm asking about what happened with Ken, period. LB has said himself he can't read the shit FROM THE BOARD and doesn't want to. He reads the shit second hand via email. How the fuck does anyone know that the person sending the emails isn't editing the shit? We don't! But apparently LB trusts his spineless fucking email mole implicitly.
Plus! I don't come here or have I EVER come here because of or in spite of LB. This place USED to be fun, it USED to be filled with great info and thoughts. NOW, most everyone that had good info or thoughts have been alienated or banned. Can you hear the crickets? This place USED to be a riot, now, it's Kmart.
