I found this quite moving & thought provoking. An aspiring young filmmaker takes on the challenge of documenting the introduction & subsequent mis-management of wolves into Yellowstone beginnning back in the mid 90's...

Any & all sportsman & women should be up in arms at how Pittman/Robertson funds were mis-alocated & squandered to fund the reintroduction of a non idigenous species, the Canadian Gray wolf.

It's long, but IMHO, worth an hour of your freetime!

Montana is issuing 220 wolf tags for the 2011 hunting season. As of today 13 have been taken. Going elk hunting the end Oct. an would like to see what a 165gr 30-06 bullet will do to one.

I wish they would let us go after them like coyotes. That is a very good film. That kid has a future IMHO.

This kind of thing always drives me nuts. There is so much disinformation by friggin' bunnyhuggers and New York environmentalists and it's always the same old story. They must impose their values on everybody else. It is the same thing as communism and socialism, group think and shit like that.

The line I liked best was where the guy said that as soon as they bring Canadian wolves across the border, suddenly; THEY ARE ENDANGERED!

Well, now that we have wolves all over the western U.S. it won't be too long before they will impact all game populations and all hunting by humans will have to be curtailed. That's the agenda, never fooled me for a minute, but some poor misguided Yahoo in AZ wants a season on coyotes for good measure. Pitiful.

These assholes, link below, want to reintroduce wolves into the grand canyon area. On the south rim it would mean a huge loss of elk and on the north rim a huge loss of deer for both Arizona and Utah. One of these idiots is Kim Crumbo. An ex navy seal that has turned into an environmental looney tuner. At an outdoor expo, I ran into a pretty lady whose last name was Hatch as in Orin Hatch at a colorado river guide display. Her and her husband run this river guide service. I asked her if she knew Kim Crumbo who is another river runner, and she politely smiled and said yes. Always willing to speak my mind, I replied well I think he is an asshole. She laughed and totally agreed with me. One of the many things Crumbo has been pushing for is a ban on motorized river runners on the colorado and hatch river guide services is a motorized service. What saved them is Hatch had handicapped former customers show up at the meetings in wheel chairs, and these people told the directors of the park service that if they shut down motorized guiding that they would be denied access. Crumbo and his ilk lost that battle. Mrs. Hatch also told me about Crumbo got the crap beat out of him by a cow elk. I know the cow probably had a calf nearby, but I like to believe the cow heard about his efforts to reintroduce the wolf so she kicked his navy seal ass. Here is a list of things that I’ve heard of Crumbo weigh in on with his liberal opinions: shut down all roads in National Monuments, ban assault rifles, reintroduction of all native species and elimination of all non native species, get rid of damns. I think this guy suffered some brain damage while a seal. These types are for real and they can breed my friends.
