I think I get this,..... you pull the trigger and the bird comes out. The coyote will think to itself, "Now, that is cool" and approach you, mesmerized by the little bird, then you club him over the head with a rock.
The real questions is, what kinda goofy bastard thinks up such a thing?

God those are beautiful! I just cannot believe the fine workmanship on those...in 1820! Moving shit like that bird didnt show up till the 50's at Disneyland?

Yes, the movement probably wouldn't be that difficult for a master watchmaker, but making the tweet sounds mechanically, that really takes a special talent.
