Well here is a LA Times article on our beloved ATF director, pointing fingers now that the shit has hit the fan on the gun sales to Mexican cartels.

It is hard to believe that ATF actually thought they had a workable plan? That is, if the plan was to interdict domestic sales from getting into Mexico? Or, was the purpose the opposite, to facilitate domestic sales getting into Mexico to bolster the administration's phony claim that the major source of weapons in Mexico was from the U.S.
I think as a matter of convenience, for those cartel members in border states to just buy guns in AZ because it's impossible to buy legitimately in Mexico and that government would like to see it impossible to buy over here, as well.
But, as has been charged, (and it's believable) this was aplan with a completely different purpose, that Obama wants to curb domestic sales because we are funding cartels at the expense of poor little Mexico. That's what he says, but he's also after my guns. This comes as no surprise.
I'm all for Issa getting to the bottom of this clusterfuck. I'd love to see Holder get blamed, that asshole is dangerous!

Issa was on Fox last night. Seems our beloved Attorney General MAY have been caught in a lie to Congress.
Issa said serious ramification for Holder if he lied. Seems Issa wants Holders emails and they are stonewalling them.
I think it was a strategic plan to ban weapons all together, but it backfired big time.
Seems folks are ratting each other out on this one.

I don't agree with much of anything obama does, much less have hope for his appointments. I do hope they go on the un-employment list very shortly. I'd also hope some gov't types were held accountable.
Whoever signed off on this is an enabler and enabled criminals to kill many people. Maybe some conspiracy charges would fit. Hopefully they will get shamed worse than ole Nixon. I'm hoping for prison time.

You forget the double standard. They still rail against Nixon's transgressions, but Clinton has been rehabilitated, dusted off and adored. Democrats believe dishonesty is acceptable, if it favors Liberal causes.
As with current stonewalling, I expect nothing will happen. Remember Janet Reno and Ruby Ridge, Waco? But, if you find a fabricated document concerning George Bush and his military service, blow it all out of proportion. Right, Dan Rather?

DanS, I can only hope Holder or others responsible do time. Of course their DADDY could use his power to grant a pardon to all involved at the stroke of his mighty pen. ![[Embarrassed]](redface.gif)
Since a US Border Patrol agent was killed as a result of this BS operation, HOPEFULLY this scandal will not die a quiet death as many others have. The scandal seems to be picking up steam actually. I am not holding my breath yet.
According the the experts watching this it appears the ATF Director might be the scapegoat in all this.
The Director showed up at a meeting with his own attorney in tow. According to others this is a sign of will be or is going to be thrown under the bus to protect the regime.
Apperantly the ATF Director is NOT going to get hammered without a fight.
If this goes accordingly, this scandal could cause some serious headaches for JD's beloved President. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
