"The incident marks the start to Victoria's hunting season."
I had to laugh a little when I read this particular line because, in a way, it makes it sound like the Aussies kick off their season each year by shooting some dumbass in the face, sorta like firing a cannon to mark the start of a local festival or fair parade. I wonder how thery choose the dumbass? Holy crap, you stand out in front of a line of armed gunmen and expect things to end well? In Kansas, we call that a firing squad. I don't know about down under, though.
On the other hand, what is the Aussie limit on duck lovers? (Too soon?)

I really dont like seeing anyone injured, pehaps she should stay home during deer season.
How can people get so far away from what we really are at our core. hunting is so basic simple and beautiful. What a dolt.

Are we SURE that it was a hunter that did the shooting or was the shot fired from `the grassy knoll` by a rouge member of the fashion police?????

wow!!! Those Aussies are bad shots, he obviously needed to pull down on her another 12 inches or so, oh well with a little practice he'll get her next time.
Gosh I hope they were able to save all those wounded ducks, I mean could you imagine if they died and someone ate them? Oh my goodness.

This kind of thing really pisses me off as it gives hunters a bad name. In the picture there are three others that walked away totaly unscaved. Any halfway decent coyote hunter could have had an easy quad there!
Good hunting.
