Someone posted a great acronym for know-it-alls or one uppers. If anyone remembers it! For some reason I think it was R Shaw or aznative.
Something to do with those guys that always say, "Oh, yea well I got a better one."
All I could come up with was, KIP's. Know-it-all Pricks.

I always called them guys; "Can you top this". I have known one, in particular. Never stumped. And, if they didn't beat whatever subject was discussed, they knew somebody that did. Good old John, but damn, he sure had something to prove.

Good hunting. LB

I used to play the game with John, although he didn't know. I'd intentionally exaggerate some event, just to see if he couldn't top it. If I killed two doves with one shot, I'd say three instead. He would straight faced and in all sincerity, tell me about the time he killed four, with one shot. With a 28 gauge. Sixty yards. In a snowstorm. With a broke arm. Twice, in fact.

You just couldn't beat this guy. But, I will say this, he knew his way around coyotes, of that, I am quite sure.

Good hunting. LB

But did he wear a bucket and use Aunt Jemima while doing it? If he can top that, he should be on everyone's Pro-Staff.

Leonard;
I believe that you're describing the "First Liar Doesn't Stand A Chance" theory. Proven fact & yes, it can be entertaining.

Yeah, that would work, too.

Hey, off topic, but since you have a reputation in the financial sector, I will ask:

I have been pursuing a refi since August, quite an ordeal but finally signed on with a broker who promptly sold my note to Wells Fargo, the holder of my current loan and one of the new offers that I declined. "Your credit looks good except all the inquiries lately?" Guess why?

Anyway, the question. The first thing they did was sell my note to Wells Fargo. Then one branch of Wells Fargo sold to a different branch, all of which I was notified about by mail. Then again. Different branch, different state. Then, I get a notice from Fanny Mae letting me know that they have purchased my loan, but to keep sending money to the last address.

So, what is the deal with all the transactions? Makes my head spin. Read me the tea leaves, please.

Good hunting. LB

edit: Whoa! Maybe I was thinking of someone else? Booger maybe? Anybody?

Assholes are like gravity they are somthing you just can't escape! I my self have left a few cold beers on the bar just to get the hell away from a few of those kind of assholes.
But back in the day I was known to hit a few joints, where someone just knocked down the walls of some old house and said ok this is now a bar.And of course they were always out on some stretch of lonely blacktop highway.
But that dude KO KO is right the first liar doesn't stand a chance.
