TA "If you want the call back its fine with me, to be honest i'm not that happy with it anyway.
...So if you want it back its still in like new condition and you owe me nothing.
"

As I've already stated, I want the call back.

Now stick to your word, if that means anything at all.

LMAO.. Thats pretty good Krusty, too bad I did'nt type it. Ha ha ha Not enough of these >,,,,

Also if i was going to give it back I would of wanted my traps back in return.

( you owe me nothing.")

If you was'nt such a ass for so long I may have given it back, but there is NO CHANCE of it now... [Big Grin] [Razz]

Edit to add. If you want one bad enough ask around, I know there are a few more laying around in the bottom of some boxes.. [Roll Eyes]

Edit to add.. Now piss off. [Big Grin]

Tim,

You're (that's you are) a LIAR!

I quoted it from this page second post from the bottom.
Don't go back there and edit it, like a chickenshit, either! (*The date will show up, and we'll all know!)

The traps weren't part of that deal, and they're not part of this one. [Wink]

Stick to your word, without any of your bullshit excuses... it's not my fault you didn't live up to your word back then (before I supposedly was an ass).

Speaking of living up to one's word... Leonard, I need your shipping address, I got some money for Christmas, and I can finally square up with you. (*That's why I was looking for that thread)

You know what.

I stick my nose into discussions when I feel like it, which is my way of avoiding editing and deleting stuff. I have no problem with arguing over traps and calls. If it's important to you guys, that's fine.

But Geezus! This issue has been going on forever and it doesn't make anybody look good. I hope you guys either work it out or........ just quit bitching about it. It is probably irritating more than this one person.

Good hunting. LB

BTW Thanks Krusty. I will send my address to your displayed email. No problem, or lingering animosity as far as I'm concerned, but it is, and has been a matter of principle, for me.

Wow, I just got done reading all of this and the trailers that went with it. Seems as if all is well here in cyberland.
I do want to wish you all a Merry Christmas, even though it is late, and a Happy New Yaer.
If any of you get over to my neck of the woods I would enjoy a day afield wacking coyotes. Just PM me. I am not the best at this calling game but I have fair success as an old dude in the game.
By the way Krusty I have and still use your Krier I got from you many years ago and it still is calling in coyotes for me.
Good calling to all....Walt

Leonard:

Your right about this, and I do not have a dog in this fight. If a man gives his word on something he should do it, or that man's word is worth nothing, and he should not be believed or trusted about anything. When it gets right down to it all we have in life is our word as a man. It's too bad that doesn't mean anything to so many people today, there sure wouldn't be as many lawyers if it did. I for one have made deals that ended up costing me money because I told someone I would do something, that I wished later I would not have, but there was no way in hell I would not have lived up to my word. From knowing several people on this site I know they would feel the same.

Posted by TA17Rem (Member # 794) on December 27, 2010, 01:37 PM:

First off you have to look at the person you are giveing youre word to. If he dose'nt respect himself or others or the person that gave his word it has NO meaning...
Kinda reminds me of the guy that goes to church to hear the word of God every sunday, once he is out the door he is still the same person before he went in, nothing changed...

Posted by TundraWookie (Member # 1044) on December 27, 2010, 02:13 PM:

So Tim, you pick and choose who you'll lie to based on what you think a person's level of self respect is? That's just not right, no matter how you spin it.

Posted by TA17Rem (Member # 794) on December 27, 2010, 02:31 PM:

I did'nt lie to anyone, just changed my mind due to the circumstances...anyway I'm not going to worry about it... [Big Grin]

Posted by coyote down (Member # 2887) on December 27, 2010, 02:33 PM:

My comment had nothing to do with who you give your word to. Only that if you give your word to someone you should stick to it. The more you type the more we know about your character. It doesn't matter about your judgement of the person that goes to church, and is still the same in your eyes after church. God touches people
in different ways and in different timing, and in the end it is God who will do the judging. Not caring about lieing and cheating is a subject all in itself and should have nothing to do with who you do it to, only that you don't care that you do it.

Posted by DEL GUE (Member # 1526) on December 27, 2010, 04:15 PM:

I think the point here is, if you give your word, you give your word. It doesn't matter if you give your word to a saint or a snake, the point is, you gave your word! If you don't keep your word, regardless of who you gave it to, then that is going to directly reflect on you, and who the person you gave it to is irrelevant. Keeping your word is about who YOU are, not who the person is that you gave it to. You don't keep your word because of your opinion of who you gave it to, or whether or not they have changed, or your opinion of them has changed...you keep your word because, as a man, you gave it, and if you don't keep it then you have no honor. And if you have no honor, then how are men to trust you? I don't think a call or traps or anything else would be more important to me than my honor or my reputation among men, and especially among my friends.

I am Yoda. I had a friend..had, because she chose to no longer be my friend. I tried to share my wisdom with her, but her past and her ego got in the way. I can save her from everyone except herself. There are universal truths in this life that cannot be ignored, even if we try. One of the keys to life is to stay philosophical. You have to see through things...and you have to rise above them. We can't control what happens to us..but we can control how we respond. Even though she chose to no longer be my friend, a decision that was hers and hers alone to make, I still choose to be her friend. That decision is reserved for me and me alone. But my ego is not so large that I won't admit that she also taught me.

Sometimes something can eat at you, it can consume you, if you let it. It can give you a black heart. But you have to let it go. That's all..just let it go. And once you do, the weight is lifted off of you.

Romans 12:21, Do not be overcome with evil, but overcome evil with good.

I'm just musing..don't mean nothin' by it.

Naw, I'd hunt with you. Events of late have softened me, and I try to stay philosophical about things unless somebody takes a really gratuitously huge shit in my Cheerios, which risks awakening Baaad Yoda, who is a real dick. Otherwise, it's all good. I would simply suggest that going to war and engendering animus over small things simply isn't worth it.

Leonard: the folks at work call me Yoda. I used to think it was because they perceived me as wise, and having all the answers, and then I realized it was because to them I seemed older than shit. (I'm not 900 years old yet, but I'm working on it.) Even some of the supervisors do it. And I have a small Yoda hanging from the spotlight handle inside my car.

Come on, guys. I don't think ratcheting up the rhetoric is gonna help solve anything. As Rodney King said in his only moment of clarity, "can't we all just get along?".

TA changed his mind, and there's no reason to believe that he won't change his mind again, especially during the holidays.

My guess is that he will stick that call in a box along with a note to Krusty saying "Merry Christmas, my friend!" and send it to him. After all, there's no reason not to, and it would be the right thing to do. TA already said it's not his favorite call, and Krusty obviously really wants it, so why wouldn't he? I think TA is a good guy, and that he's going to do the right thing here.

I am with Del on this one. A man's word is his word, no matter who he gives it to.

Other than that, Tim has stated he changed his mind, and he obviously can live with that. He has to be able to look himself in the mirror at the end of the day. So who are we to judge him?

If it were up to me though I would send the call back to Krusty. [Wink]

And if he doesn't want to send it to Krusty, he can just send it to me. [Razz]

Really don't want to drag this along any more than i have to.
Anyway Krusty gave me the call, the stupid call is mine. Now if Krusty wants it back is'nt he going back on his word when he stated it was mine to have. We call it in-dian givers here.
Also like I said before I should be able to change my mind if i choose to do so, just like going to a car dealer to buy a car and after all the paper work is done a person changes his mind about buying it. No laws broken and no damage to the person "word"..

My piont is Krusty needs to learn to show a little respect and choose what words he uses when talking to others. It just so happen it was me and it just so happens I have the call in my hands..
Anyway I decided I'll give it back to Krusty since my word and HONOR is at stake, if it matters anyway.. LOL

Krusty could of let sleeping dogs lay but choose to push on.. Good for you Krusty..

Anyway to just prove my point I took the call out to the shop and ran it through the table saw and then smashed the rest of it with a sledge hammer. I can do that since its still in my possession.
I have the package sitting next to me as I speak, so Krusty if you would be so kind and send me 5.00 to cover shipping I will send whats left back to you along with some Elmer's glue incase you decide you want to rebuild it..

You get youre call back and I still have my word...LOL [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Big Grin] [Cool]

For the record, I never asked for the call back, Tim offered it.

If one was to read through that old thread where he made said offer, I was willing to give the call to a kid who might enjoy having it, after making sure it was working properly.
I don't want it for myself.

And, I don't think I've ever done anything to Tim, besides say I didn't think always he knows what he's talking about.
Certainly not enough to merit being lied to.

What I wanted here, and what I got, was to expose Tim's true colors, and he has completely risen (or sunken, if you please) to that end. [Roll Eyes]

This thing needs to be put to sleep. It's gone too far already, and needs to get resolved so that everyone can move on and we can get back to coyotes and such. Not to mention the fact that such animus is not becoming right around Christmas. I get enough Jerry Springer at work..I grow weary of coming home and having to deal with it on my favorite bulletin boards, too. There are enough Osama's and Kim's and other scumbags in this world to be disenchanted with that we don't need to be fighting among ourselves over stuff that in 5 years won't matter a whit.

Sorry. I came down sick today, and I get a little cranky when I get sick. Y'all just please make this happen. Consider it a Christmas present to all of us on Huntmasters, and most of all to yourselves.

Take care.

Well here's the deal, the call was given to me so I'm going to keep it, its mine and it stays on the shelf. I changed my mind and I'm allowed to do so no matter what claims anyone makes.

If the issue is pressed any farther by anyone then I have a buddy of mine that has some Tannerite and I will blow the call to smithereens and Krusty can have what ever pieces I may find.. [Big Grin] Good day......

Tannerite is pretty weak stuff, unless you use a 5 gallon bucket full. I have lots of it and it takes a good quantity to do anything really destructive. I'd wager Krusty's call would survive the blast. Either that, or you'd miss the shot and simply shoot the call. [Smile]

I can't say that I condone anyone going back on their word. Don't like it at all, BUT if it's going to happen to someone, then it couldn't happen to a better guy. Ole' Krusty has always been a Bi-polar moron, well at least for the last decade that I have watched his idiotic ways on here.
This whole thing has been hilarious!! [Big Grin]

Remember when Krusty and his brother got in that fight while hunting? Krusty went all Bruce Lee on his own brother because he wouldn't hunt exactly like he wanted him too. That story is old, but it still tickles my funny bone a bit. [Big Grin]

In the spirit of the Holidays, I think we can afford to be charitable toward K. He has not had things easy, but he hangs in there. He also is not afraid to contribute when he can, what he knows, a quality that others could consider. I think he's a decent guy, although not necessarily an accomplished coyote slayer, which is not a prerequisite on this Board.

Some people I can't defend, some people, I can. I think K means well in most cases. Most of the time, he gives his calls, gratis. Tim, for instance, is not particularly known as a generous man, but he could be hiding it? I don't think Jeff is a "provocateur" whatever his other crimes may be? Tim specializes in it.

That's my take, others are free to disagree. I'm just stating an opinion.

Happy New Years! El Bee

Well I like ole Krusty man, he has a gift for call making and is bright. He is who he is and can be a pain but then who can't.
As I remember it was Red who jumped K, not the other way.

Understand, I'm not dictating, just expressing an opinion, like anyone else. And, we don't need to start choosing sides. I think both individuals have good attributes. Do I think the discussion necessary, not really. But, it is important to them, so I'm not going to say it doesn't belong, or it should be deleted. If that's the way they choose to conduct grievances, <shrug> remember, it still has entertainment value.

Good hunting. LB

In the spirit of the holidays, Geordie and I have been giving this thread some thought.

The Top Ten Reasons Tim Will Not Destroy Krusty's Call

10. He is considering donating it to the Mr.Coyote Museum

9. He is waiting for an ADC man to tell him how to handle the situation.

8. It could be modified into a gear shift knob for him or one of "The Crew"

7. He is unsure which end to blow into, so he doesn't really know where to insert the tannerite

6. He could loose respect of all the newbies who have not figured out he is an idiot.

5. At his age, it is easier to spin 360 degrees using a Krusty Krier versus the heavier weight of a WT

4. He can milk the thread for another week or two because in his mind negative internet publicity is better than no publicity.

3. The call may actually sound good, but he doesnt have a clue because he cannot hear.

2. Tannerite may produce the same results as his 17 Pred. Spin and run-off

1. Destroying the call would kill any chance he has for becoming a member of Krusty's Pro Staff.

That's actually a good idea and would bring a degree of peace and harmony to the the principles.
(if K approves, of course)

KRUSTY'S PRO STAFF, PROBATIONARY MEMBER

PRO STAFF/KRUSTY'S CALLS - blow a Krusty

Is there a better way of phrasing it?
I think he secretly likes the call but has not mastered it, yet? Maybe he IS blowing on the wrong end? He's a smoker. Inhale, Tim! Inhale!

Good hunting. LB

PS, I will be at the casino, if anybody needs anything. Somebody gave me a whole bag of $25,000 chips!

Well thanks Randy and Geordie..
By the way how is the 221 brass and horn tip call working out for you Geordie??? Yup youre welcome. [Roll Eyes]

The Top Ten Reasons Tim Will Not Destroy Krusty's Call

10. He is considering donating it to the Mr.Coyote Museum (why would I)

9. He is waiting for an ADC man to tell him how to handle the situation.( I talk to some from time to time to learn what I can.. About the same as you talking to Q or Higgins. Difference is I'm not bullhead and learn a few things..)

8. It could be modified into a gear shift knob for him or one of "The Crew" ( once again why??
The shifting knobs that came with the trucks work fine)

7. He is unsure which end to blow into, so he doesn't really know where to insert the tannerite. ( Know well enough to call a coyote in for Criner with one.) [Cool]

6. He could loose respect of all the newbies who have not figured out he is an idiot. ( Not looking for there respect or anyone else's for that matter.. As for the word RESPECT you don't even no the meaning.)

5. At his age, it is easier to spin 360 degrees using a Krusty Krier versus the heavier weight of a WT. ( WT is'nt that heavey. You must be getting old..)

4. He can milk the thread for another week or two because in his mind negative internet publicity is better than no publicity.
( Not looking for any publicity, but I see you are by makeing this stupid post.)

3. The call may actually sound good, but he doesnt have a clue because he cannot hear.

( I'm not deaf just have a loss of some tones.. If the call was so great and sounded to good why are there so many of them laying in a drawer or in the bottom of a box. Send me a E-mail and I'll send you a list of those that have them and don't use them..)(As for haveing a clue,
you still have'nt got a clue about working difficult coyotes.. Youre answer to difficult coyotes is just to take a couple of long pokes at one and then move on.. Look who is doing the educateing. [Eek!]

2. Tannerite may produce the same results as his 17 Pred. Spin and run-off.

( only had one and that was due to a fireform load with lower vel. If I remember correctly you had the same happen with youre 22-250 and 55 gr bullet on a coyote around 100 yds out. Never did find it.. [Roll Eyes] )

1. Destroying the call would kill any chance he has for becoming a member of Krusty's Pro Staff.

( Not looking for any pro staff positions with anyone.. If I was I would just go down to Texas and kill abunch of coyotes like some people I know.. Not to hard to go down there and rack up the numbers if you got the time and money to do it.. Its good for publicity for those seeking it. Right!!!)

Have a nice day>>>>

Tim,
You really got a list of guys that have a KrustyKrier and don't like it or use it?
I have one of Krusty's firsts and have been using it for many years with good results. I know I don't call and kill as many coyotes as some of you here but I have called in and killed well over a hundred coyotes, probably more I don't keep records or count or even take pictures of coyotes anymore, with his call over the years.Along with my own calls it is the only open reed I use. Has been a very good call over the years.
Also, I have had a chance to be up in Washington and out calling with Red and Krusty and not only had a great time, enjoyed his company. We had one of the worst places I could think of to call coyotes in because there was very little area and while there we also ran into just a few other callers out there.
Now that area would be a good place to refine your calling in call shy coyotes education.
Just had to say a little bit in defence of ol Krusty's calls anyways as they are works of art and have been calling in coyotes for me anyways for the last 6,7,8 years. Can't remember how long it was when he made that for me but it is one of his first calls he made.
Happy New Year everyone...Walt

I can second that. I have three of his calls. Two he made for me and one that Vic Carlson gave me. They are well made, hand crafted, not flashy but exhibit a fine degree of craftsmanship. It's easy to see that he spends time on them.

And, that's my puzzlement with TA. I can understand a certain type of call not being comfortable to use, or not being thrilled with the sound, personal choice ....But. As I understand, he didn't have to actually buy it, so why the sore ass? Just leave it in the drawer, like he said it was, and give up on the criticisms?

I mean, I'm puzzled? This was a gift, Tim! Why would you bitch about a friggin' gift, so loud, for so long? You are a difficult person to warm up to, particularly tone deaf, I might add. Some good attributes and a couple little character flaws, which we all have, but usually have the good sense to conceal.

Good hunting and HAPPY NEW YEAR! El Bee

You better go and do some back reading when you have time Leonard. I did'nt bring it up about the call, youre buddy Krusty did. I will admitt I did mention last summer I used it in a sound test with some other custom calls.

Why did Vic give up his call to you???? [Roll Eyes]

Edit to add; Who started this thread???? Was'nt me... [Roll Eyes]

I have an extensive call collection including some very high end calls... never really counted but somewhere near 300+. I have an early KrustyKrier and it is a prized addition! Hand craftmanship at it's finest.

Now the issue as I read all of this and past threads has to do with some kind of a trade for traps. I don't think either party is guilty of real disparity in that trade but it might have caused the problem. Seems two guys that just clash in personality more than anything else.

Tim, I'd trade you a whole set of my calls for that Krier! Look at it this way, then you'd have two guys to rag on! [Big Grin] [Razz] [Razz]

Niko: Thanks for the offer. I don't really need any more calls, I bought a set of calls from Highwayman this year and have pretty much finished my collecting for some time anyway..
To my understanding I could get some serious coin for it if I wanted to sell it, but its not about the money either...

The traps were a gift to help Krusty on his new adventure which did'nt last very long , I was a little disappointed to hear that.. Most likely they got sold when he sold out his business, but it don't matter as they were his to do
with as he wished...

Good Idea Leonard But I have two problems with that. First off I don't care for F-P so no chance of it going there. 2nd I told Todd Relm he could have it if I ever decided to get rid of it so he wouldbe next in line before Krusty...
Todd asked me about it a few weeks after I recieved it from Krusty.. [Big Grin]

Whose Todd Relm?

Ya know, T, I was once told by a preceptor in EMS that your name is the first thing you're given when you're born and the only thing you take with you when you die that is uniquely yours. It's a matter of common respect and courtesy to pronounce and spell it properly. Just sayin'...

It's Rahm.

So....you would keep your word to Todd Reim, but in other circumstances your word means nothing, and furthermore, like any other female, you are free to change your mind?

What's that they say about climbing out of a hole? The first thing you need to do, is to stop digging.

Free advice, Tim. And, it's good advice that you don't deserve, but should accept and follow. Send the damn call back to Krusty. This soap opera is thoroughly disgusting.

Good hunting. LB

Actually, I wish you (ND) would start a discusion about some recent event, get us back on track. That cannot be too difficult for a man of your caliber. What do you say?

Krust if your are still making calls please send me a email at coyotecaller@gmail.com they must be one hell of a call. do you make howlers? If tim with all his knowledge won't let go of one of your calls it must be able to call them in droves so i'm sure it would call in a few of my "tough adc coyotes for me"
