Ive been bored out of my gourd all day. Gran Torino just came on. One of my all time favorites. Im a Clint fan anyway. Any of yall like this one?

My wife calls me Walt all the time. LOL

One of my favorite lines is in this movie. What are you spooks up to. Did you ever notice that once in a while you run across someone you just shouldnt have fucked with.

LMAO Classic.

I've never seen a Clint Eastwood movie that I didn't like... even the really bad ones!

Wish the ending was a little different in "Torino". I understand he kept his purity for the law but man, I'd have loved to see him open up on those guys or maybe even pull out a "Claymore"! He could have let them shoot first! [Big Grin] [Razz]

Since you were maybe named after Mr.Eastwood I'll be gentle... like I said, I like all of his movies.

Madison County didn't do much for me and neither did Million Dollar Baby, or The Gaunlet, or Firefox... then there was the Italian stuff like The Witches or Breezy(some which he only directed)... just to name a few.

I hope you get the idea. Great actor and he's done lots of different rolls. I remember very well the early days as Rowdy Yates! Loved those old westerns when I was a kid. Head'em Up, Move 'em out, Rawhide!!! [Big Grin]

Two of my favorites were The Outlaw Josey Wales and Heartbreak Ridge. I still think about his talk with the indigenous native peoples toward the end of Josey Wales, where he brings his words of life, and his words of death. And he just seemed like a good old crusty soldier in Heartbreak Ridge. The other amusing one was White Hunter, Black Heart. He had some good one-liners in that one. And of course the Dirty Harry series are classics. And he ain't afraid to stand up to Spike Lee, which doesn't surprise me and gets him extra points, at least in my book.

Dirty Harry was one of the reasons I became an LEO.

The Good, The BAD, and The Ugly is my all time favorite Clint Eastwood movie though.

I like all Clint movies. Josey and Unforgiven are among my favorites. How can you not like a guy who growls at people? And he calls it like he sees it. I like that too.

Yeah, he's kinda badass....for an old geezer.

I thought Pale Rider was too gimmicky, twirling axe handles like Bruce Lee, etc. The ones with the ape were pretty good. I agree with 49 (gulp) I probably liked the Dirty Harry movies best.

Good hunting. LB

Yeah, Unforgiven has some great lines, too. I always remember him saying, "It's a helluva thing to kill a man..". That, and his transformation from the man you see in the beginning, trying to be reformed and seeming somewhat tentative, to when he walks out of the saloon in the end, and threatening to come back and "kill all of you sons of bitches".
