That's a fine dog. When someone asks Kelly if he's going to mount the deer he can tell them "No, my dog already did!!!"

Nice one Kelly! I was supposed to be on an Oklahoma whitetail hunt this year, but my "buddy" that was taking me all of the sudden forgot or something. I had it all approved with the wife, had time off of work and everything.

That's a beauty Kelly. Lots of good deer shot up here in S.D. this year. This is a deer my boy shot during bow season a 7x7 whitetail. I think the reason so many big deer were shot this year is they had a chance to grow a little bigger as we had lots of snow last year and people couldn't get to the good ones. In my area this year there has been a 205 muley and a 188 shot with bow. I'm waiting for the guy to email me the picture. When I get it , I will post.

Jerry, It looks like you have the photos in photobucket. If you place your cursor below the image on photobucket, it will give you the correct address to use for web sites.

Taylor shot her one this evening, Wyatt the young man I have been carrying deer hunting the last 4-5 years passed this one up.
Miss Poof passed on 3, but couldn't let this one go. Her 2nd buck.

this is the pic I like best. round here they find out the fun is over once you pull the trigger. They had a heck of a time dragging this buck 700 + yards to where I could get to it with the truck. I am proud of both of them.

Kelly Nice deer
Did I understand that the range was point blank and the weapon was a pick up.
Nice to see the young ones carrying on the tradition.

Jerry those are huge bucks.
Thx All. I let Taylor use my AR in 6WOA loaded with 85gr SGK HP's. She made a 150 plus yard shoulder shot and the bullet performed well. After the shot, Tay told me Dad I can't stop shaking. I told her thats what it is all about.
I am having issues with the scope on my 243WSSM upper, couldn't find my 30-06 cartridges, as I have not used it in years, So I used my night hnting rig. A 223 WSSM bolt gun and I loaded a few 65gr SGK for it. The deer I shot was about 175 yards and I put one in the lungs, it just stood there and I popped it twice more. The 1st shot would have been plenty, but that is the 1st deer I shot with that combo.
Randy - I finished my cigar on the drive back in.

KJ, Looks like you got about an inch of antler growth in hand for every coyote ya killed last year! At least...
And Ms. Poof done real good, too! The apple don't fall far, ya know!
