Well I myself have been up from 1:45 AM Vegas time and working on a few of my recordings (prey sounds).Well whats up with you? So is that all you can come up with are did you just hit the wrong key?

eaglerock/sak81....famous fox-pro father/son team winners who got away with bending( make that breaking) 3 of the 4 rules(suggestions) and still came out smelling like a rose.....we should be humbled Leonard!

My first reaction is to blame poor Robb for every troll that comes down the pipe. I guess I owe him an apology?
I am familiar with the rule benders on the Foxpro contest site. I never understood why they teamed up and registered the father, but gave all the points to the son, who was not registered, but given some sort of dispensation from Dillon, himself.
As I said, I didn't understand it then, and I don't understand it now. BUT, with all the sham with the previous contests concerning Robb Krause, (Little Stevie Wonder) I am surprised that Foxpro didn't cancel the whole exercise in dishonesty. I guess they found another way to game the system?
So, what's on your mind, sak? Are you the Junior or the elder? eaglerock has been suspended for insulting the host. I hope it was an ignorant son and not a grown adult responsible for that inexcusable and insulting language.

edit: I was suspicious, from the start, checked the IP address of both of them but they didn't match. Didn't change my mind, notice they didn't get the standard greeting. I smelled a rat. Who wouldn't?

Can we form a team for this years contest with 4 or 5 hunters scattered in differnt areas and have them all counted to one hunter?

Republicans, Democrats, politics in general, is the least of my worries. I can't think of a more ridiculous conversation in this venue. And do I vote, absolutely. However, on the subject of bending or breaking any rules, I will tell you what happened and nothing more. Eaglerock registered because I did not have access at the time. I was the shooter. Assuming that teams were allowed to register, we figured we were good. As long as both of us were not posting the same kills under two registrations, we did not see the problem. It wasn't until Vic went on his rant, that we realized we needed some clarification...enters Mike Dillon. Contacted him personally, and he gave us the OK. Do I agree with the timing of handling it, no. I didn't want to be in the contest to begin with. I don't preditor hunt to get an "ATTA BOY" "You Da Man" or a virtual pat on the back. For us it is about being in the field, enjoying what we do. I can go on and on about this, at the end of the day, we posted only true, timely, kills. No bending. No breaking.

I assume you to be the father of the rude big mouth son, who called himself eaglerock? If you ever taught him, he has forgotten his manors. And, he walks and talks like a Liberal, therefore, he is one, only more obnoxious than average.
Please do not make the mistake of defending his young ass, either. He's wrong, and you know it, so let's not waste time and energy rationalizing his behavior.

Well thats the same story as when it was going on. They figgered out, must be slow, that they were cheatin, two on one, in the contest. Called Dillon and he said it was ok to break that rule.

I normally stay out of these sorts of things, but to come on to a board like this hurling insults from the get-go makes me suspect that we are are truly dealing with persons of glaringly noteworthy character.
Noteworthy due to the lack thereof.
Man, I hope I'm wrong. Hard to imagine that after the opening dumb republican comment, though.
If anybody thinks that politics - which directly effects our daily health, well-being, firearms ownership, wealth, etc.... - isn't an important topic for any gathering of thinking men they are not thinking. At all.

And, I agree with Joe. Politics is basic to our freedoms, or lack, there of. Therefore, it is never inappropriate for those so inclined to discuss things that matter.
I'm really shocked by some of the comments by a grown man, directed at people they hardly know. I'm wavering between banning and allowing him to have his say. Liberals don't last long around here but it is usually because they run out of logical argument, not because of their potty mouths.
What should I do?

They are typically name callers, interrupters and always dominate conversations. When losing, like this Senator from WV, they want to ban FOXNEWS. Just like Obama wants to do because it isn't a legit news organization. What claptrap.
News, in general needs to reevaluate their role. They can't be advocates, they need to be impartial. That's where "FAIR AND BALANCED" gets FOX in trouble.
Maybe if we gave free shock treatments to Liberals? Is it curable, or not? Bernie Goldberg used to be liberal. He woke up.

Agreed. The media, precisely because it controls the print and airwaves, has both a responsibility and an obligation to be impartial, because of it's capacity to influence public opinion and the resources at it's disposal which other's lack. Much like generals shouldn't involve themselves in politics while serving, so the media should remain outside the political arena. Once the media enters that arena, especially by 'endorsing' candidates, their credibility and objectivity become highly suspect.
However, even fools can be right occasionally. Just like Rodney King had a moment of clarity when he uttered, "Can't we all just get along?", so did Al Gore when he said, "When you have the facts on your side, argue the facts. When you have the law on your side, argue the law. When you have neither, holler." which is pretty much the only option liberals have..to holler.
