Did somebody say; NEW MEMBER? I just approved a registration for a long time lurker, that it was my pleasure to meet, at the campout. Let's find out what he has to say, and welcome him when he sticks his foot in the waters, from which, there is no return. He seemed to think that he wouldn't last a day, which is a total misconception on his part. Mentioned; "don't piss me off" as his concern. Hmm? Doubtful.

Good hunting. LB

edit: guess who?

Not only is that KJ a pretty fair hand, I think he might be a bit clairvoyant as well. Spooky.

Like Leonard said, I've been lurking for years, just didn't know if I could get along with the host. After meeting the man, the myth, the legend in person at the campout, I decided he's not as scary as I thought he was.

I won't have a lot to contribute to this group, but now when I read a thread and a snappy reply comes to mind, I can post it.

Howdy y'all!

To all who were at the campout, it was good meeting those of you that I hadn't, and fun seeing those of you I already knew. Leonard, I really enjoyed our conversation and your story of Africa, Saturday night.

I was gonna edit my first post, but figured it wouldn't be wise to start this early.

Anyway, I meant to say, that DAMN KJ....

Forgot where I was, and boy did that feel good.

Welcome to The New HuntmastersBBS.com, jimanaz. Glad to have you on board.

Interesting theory. My "on line" reputation. Apparently, a trifle more intimidating than the not so very impressive reality?

Good hunting. LB

Thanks for the welcome guys.

Intimidating, Leonard? Not necessarily the adjective I would have chosen, but OK. Folks have been telling me the virtual Leonard ain't the same guy as the real Leonard, and now I agree. Now maybe if I had pulled my machine gun out to show you, things would have been different?

Posted by Leonard (Member # 2) on October 31, 2010, 09:43 AM:

Good thing you didn't! I might have freaked!

Intimidating doesn't work? Well, I'm no better at self analysis than anybody else. Exactly what is my online reputation, Amigo? I'd like to know.

Good hunting. LB

Posted by jimanaz (Member # 3689) on October 31, 2010, 10:00 AM:

Uh-oh!! Amigo again? And so soon? LOL!

Your online personality has been described in a litany of choice words and terms. Diplomatically, I'll say opinionated and self assured. Can we just leav it at that? [Wink]

Posted by Leonard (Member # 2) on October 31, 2010, 11:57 AM:

Yes, agreed. We can leave it anywhere you like, 'cause I'm easy. Is that one descriptive in the vast litany? Plead guilty to self assured. That's not a sin, it's a virtue.

So, you caught "Amigo" eh? I wasn't sure? You are new around here, lol. I just baited that one and tossed it into the pond and you gobbled it, as I knew you would. But, I was kidding. We have no problems, I sense good natured banter and as in badminton, (to use a metaphor) merely swatting the shuttlecock back over the net.

Good hunting. LB

PS that's some fine cookie duster you got there. (my serve)

Welcome Jim!

Leonard, one thing I've noticed about Jim is he very seldom misses anything... he might might not always respond but he has a vast knowledge of what is and what isn't! LOL

Thanks Tom.

I don't see a lot wrong with either of those qualities, Leonard. I openly admit to being a member of both clubs. Hence my hesitancy to set foot in your house. As discussed around the campfire, I clearly understand when YOU start speaking spanish. I picked up on a few things with all that lurking.

The 'stache used to be a goatee, but the middle part began to turn white, so I cut it out. Now everything is white, what can ya do? One night in a bar in Seligman, a nice looking female, much younger than myself, told me I looked like Sam Elliot. The mustache stays!

It may not be much, but its all you got.

Posted by Leonard (Member # 2) on October 31, 2010, 09:07 PM:

Dan. Look who's talking? Good thing you're loaded! Or, based on looks, alone, you'd never get laid.

Good hunting. LB

PS Sam Eliott, eh? I think that chick in Seligman just wanted your body. You didn't give in, did ya?
YE HAW! FREE MUSTACHE RIDES!

They say, money won't buy you love, however it will get you laid, by some rather good looking ladies of the night. [Wink]

Really George? Even at my advanced age, meeting you is not something to be soon forgotten. Of the 3 of those things I went to, that one was by far, my favorite. How's Dawn anyway?

I assume you are asking about the other cowboy dude? That was Larry and last time I talked to him, he was doing well. I don't get to see him as often as I'd like. He likes beer and that's a quality I admire.

When are you coming back out west Big Boy?

Hiya Fredo!

Is there really such a thing as a "secret spot" in Nevada? Seems like no matter where you go in Nevada you're into Coyotes. [Wink] lol

Good hunting Chad

Don't worry about it, George.

It's a bug in the program. There are about 6 words that you can't write. I've tried everything, no dice? Sorry, we have to live with it!

Good hunting. LB

Dave;
That 'secret' place didn't happen to have a line-up of really friendly girls by any chance, did it?? [Big Grin]

George;
There are a handful of non-El Bee approved words, such as 1ndian, Re$ervation, sa1e & se11. It's some kind of computer glitch that no one understands. [Confused] When in doubt about a word, just type in 'McNeil' and you should be ok. [Cool]

Nope Koko,

I've been married way to long for that stuff, there was a time though, back in the day [Wink]
