I have been lurking around on here for a while and checking the site out . I reconized some of the names on here. I was told about this site by one of my good freinds.
Any how a little about myself i hunt as often as possable mainly coyote, deer, turkey and small game. I will try and get some hunts posted in the future.
Oh Ya whats the deal with the Nikonut he thinks tree bark is camo ![[Smile]](smile.gif) . Nikonut i know who you are but do you know me. Heres a hint who is the owl. I couldnt get my regular user name to work here so i used this one.

Why the problem with the name you wanted to use? Maybe it was taken already?
Niko? He's very ....what's the word? Enthusiastic? Confident? Looks, (appearance wise) Democratic? Whatever.
But, as for me, I'd sooner wear a green plaid than treebark.

Don't listen to any of Rich's stories, Cronk sounds more like the noise an old goose makes... you know, "Cronk-croooonk!" Rich does make a mean howler and some great open reed calls, though.

Mr Clank, I assume you hunt and have at least average powers of observation? The term, "leonard's place" is not used by me, but I, at least understand it? You might notice 13,000 odd posts next to my name, which are scattered all over the current and archived threads. Your lurker skills need to be sharpened just a tad, if you missed my contributions, here and there. Don't worry about it, have a good time and enjoy the atmosphere and the bs.

I'm pretty sure I know who CLANK is and he is a good hunter and nice fella, too. I'm not sure but Rich might even know him or at least who he is kin to... he's not very good at spelling sometimes but I'm sure DC will fix that!!! ![[Wink]](wink.gif)

That question; "what's your favorite song" was the one that took the cake, over on PMS, many years ago. Rolled informed eyes all over cyberspace. PMS was all downhill, from there. But, at least the post wasn't censored, as became routine, shortly thereafter.

Understood Leonard I dont pay any attention to how much some one has posted. It has never made much difference to me IMO. As far as using Leonards place i just copied it from Nikonuts post.
Rich i always wondered what nikonut stood for thanks for clearing that up .

BTW, there were a few Okies, at the campout, (who shall be nameless) and they were acting like a bunch of jealous old (and liquored up) women, asking why nikonut was pretending to be an Okie? Apparently, y'all don't talk like one, or somethin'? I mentioned that I can't figure why anyone would "fake" Okieness? As Spock would say; that's ILLOGICAL.

Well since i miss spelled figured i am taking the day off work and going to school with my daughter so i can learn how to spell again.
Do they still have nap time in first grade
I went to okie once but they ran me out told me i wasnt sophisticated enough to be there.Thats why i live in nikoland where our ex ex governor makes our license.

I'm just about all knowed up on Clank as I need to be, for the time being, but thanks for asking.
It's niko that has me concerned, at the moment. What can you tell me about him, that we should know? So far, all I know is he's got long, (and graying) hair, lives in Illinois and wears treebark. Is he good to his mom?

Niko and i have never met face to face but have emailed and talked on the phone some.Treebark, long gray hair check. I did hear through the grape vine that he buys harleys removes the emblems put them on a honda and scraps the rest of the harley for junk so i have been told . As far as the mom part i bet he is good to her. I think Niko is just another good ole boy always looking to have a good time with freinds.

I do still have a box of "Yellerdog-PM 2008" calls here that Lee sent me to pass out to members... No way in hell am I going to spend MY money to ship them to anyone at PM after they banned me like they did! If I ever run across Lee I'll be more than happy to hand deliver them back to him. Just the way it is...
Dan, I've done things in my life that I'm not proud of but I've never "sticky fingered" anything. Well, not since I was in second grade. I'm going to tell on myself here...
When I was a second grader we walked to school everyday. On the way home we passed the local grocery store where they had a candy display with an "Honor" jar to pay.
Those little banana flavored taffys were two for a penny... I took three one day and only put one penny in the money jar. I felt so bad and scared about my indiscretion that the next day I put a penny in the jar and didn't get any candy. The store clerk was an older lady and she said to me, "Don't forget to get your candy." I told her I took three yesterday... I'm sorry but I owed that money to the jar. She just smiled and told me she had seen me do that the day before and was happy that I'd told her the truth and to just take one piece and I would be even. That was a lesson no one could ever have taught me better! I vowed at that early age to NEVER do that again. I felt terrible then and even right now 50+ years later it makes me feel bad.
I mowed Mrs. Britton's yard and took care of little things around her house when her husband got sick and then passed. In 1978 when I was looking to buy a house, Mrs.Britton told me her home was going to be for sale soon and she would love it if I bought it from her... I still live there today.
Some lessons in life are learned the hard way and some are learned the easy way... I learned that lesson pretty easy but I will never forget.
