I so look forward to this trip every year. Some good guys and great hunters to learn from around the campfire. This one did not disappoint. I didnt take very many picures to post but I figure this one says it all.

That's my youngest grandson, Robbie, with his first coyote. Randy took him out Saturday and he connected on the first stand. Thanks Randy!

Yeah, I enjoyed the hell out of the ronde and I hope everybody had a good time and it provides many memories. That's really what it's all about, you know? Screw the body count, it's the people that make it a great event.

My first catfish dinner! I loved it, Randy. My contribution Saturday night did not compare, in the slightest.

Good hunting. LB

Robbie has been registered on the Board for a while, made a couple posts. Calls himself: "coyote killer", something like that?

He is holding the same Remington Model600 in 6MMRem. that I killed everything with, in Africa, nine years ago. I have three close heirs, (don't get any closer) that want that gun when I die.

Good hunting. LB

Robbie was good to hunt with. Had a good stand presence and minimal movement. He unloaded and cased his gun everytime when getting in the truck. I have hunted with a lot of guys that did not make me feel as safe as he did. Crossing fences he was allways aware of where his muzzle was pointed and would even pass his rifle over and hold mine as I would cross. I would gladly take him again. Wish he had connected on the other two. we called in a total of eight, he got shots on three of them and conected on the first.

I still kick my self about the bobcat. I knew Clint wanted the hides and I didn't want it blow up with the six. I took that shot with the 17 rem and blow a big hole in it from a raking shot. If there was anyway I could have predicted that, I would gladly have given him that shot.

Good job, Robbie. Next tyime you're back and go out, you'll probably get 3 for 3.

Elbee, you need to talk Robbie out of a set of those ACU's. Throw them in a cook pot with tan dye for about thirty minutes and they're the best cammies you'll ever own.

He kept that grin for the rest of the time he was there. The best part was him ragging on his brother because his brother didn't get one. I reared two boys about 4 years apart. I got to relive some of the things they went through. It was a fun time.

That young man sure looked happy and excited when he told me about it. It is great to see that kind of enthusiasm.

Oh yeah, he stuck it in and twisted it off, with Aaron. I just dropped Aaron and family off at the airport, about 20 minutes ago. Next stop, SF and then direct to Frankfurt. For three years. He said people on the plane buy him drinks all the time, including the captain, once. He gets access to the Admiral's Club, (VIP lounge) great food and even showers. I never had the privilage, personally. I'm a coach rat, cheapest fare, no significant miles with any airline. [Frown]

Randy, that photo (at the top) doesn't load for me, anymore? Just the dreaded red x. And, I didn't capture it, yet.

Good hunting. LB

Leonard, my oldest is due back to Germany within the next 30 days. He has been in the sand box, 3rd tour, for the last year or more. Has a wife and two kids waiting on him there.

I will try to get all the pictures of him e mailed to you.

Congrats Robbie. [Cool]

Randy that was kewl. To me, I could care less if I ever pulled another trigger if I could see a young person, or anyone who is doing it for the first time, and the look on their face and to hear their stories, thats good enough for me.
