We rarely go to movies. Too damned expensive to take wife, two kids and usually a stray kid or two hangin around the house with the boys. Tickets, popcorn and sodas blow a c note pretty quick.
However, last night, we were kidless. So, we went on a date. Nice dinner out and a movie. I thought I would save yall some money. Dont waste a nickle on this damned movie. Most boring SOB I have ever seen at a theatre.
Just trying to help.

I'm glad you enjoyed Burger King and your local 99 cent theater.
Did the soles of your shoes stick to the floor?

I just wait and get em on netflix if i really want to see something, Havent seen a really good movie since Braveheart, although I did enjoy Inglorious basterds! amc movie channel runs specials like John Wayne,or Clint Eastwood, and such for a week at a time not bad programming.
Just cant justify the 12 to 15 per ticket to go to a theatre
and get screwed for a drink and a popcorn all that screwin and no kissin is bullshit!

I'm with you Paul, unless the old lady drags me out for a date night.
For a movie you would like, based on your list, try "Taken" with Liam Neeson. Great movie.

Paul, Clint is my favorite. Many good movies. Westerns were all good, probably liked Unforgiven the best. I like Gran Torino too. My wife calls me Walt all the time. LMAO
Inglorious Basterds was good too. That was another one I saw at the theater. Funny thing. There was a bus load of senior citizens on a tour bus came in. I heard one telling her husband that it wasnt a documentry like he told her. LOL
I normally just wait for them to get to Pay Per View if Im anxious to see them or one of the movie channels if Im not anxious. I do like movies though.
Sage, say whatever you want. Your just being a dick and not nearly smart enough to piss me off, that is my observation. LOL We have already seen how stupid you are from your observations.
I wouldnt doubt a bit if it wasnt TA in disguise.....

Netflix is the chit. We subscribe to one movie at a time, bluray, and with that, we get to stream just about anything they have available right to the HiDef whenever it suits our schedule. Between my oldest and my wife, they watch about a dozen movies a week. They have an agreement with STARZ to show many of the theatre releases within a few weeks of when they wrap up their stint downtown, so it's nice to be able to find a free evening with nothing on TV, pick what you want, whether it's a specific flick, Clint, the Duke, raunchy comedy, whatever, find it on the computer, click here and there and you're good as gold.
