As the Holiday Season fast approaches, I know that a lot of you out there are wondering "What to get Kokopelli for Christmass??" Although I'm not wealthy like some folks here, I've really got more 'stuff' than I need or know what to do with. Unless you happen to have a 60 pound, right handed Ben Pearson Mercury Hunter recurve bow in pristine condition, I'm kinda hard to buy for.
Sooooo; All that I really want for Christmass this year is for some old farts that I know & know of to admit that they can all be asses at times, shake hands, and get over it. Life is too damn short for friendships to end up in pouting pissing contests like the ones that have been going on for too long around here between too many people.
Is that too much to ask........for Christmass????
Somebody pick up a phone..............

Koko, you are correct, I've indeed been wondering what to get you for Christmas ?
If I somehow get rich in the next few months, how about a expense paid coyote hunting trip, to Fields, or Diamond Ore, heck maybe even Denio ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif) [ September 19, 2010, 10:51 AM: Message edited by: Dave Allen ]

Do I have to add Denio to the banned word list? Don't go there, it sucks.

Koko, I might have that Pearson bow here at the house....seriously, I'll look through the collection and let you know what I find. There is a brand new 63# Jack Howard Hunter here though if the Pearson falls through. I'm inventorying the collection shortly, keep you posted.

I've got a pristene Black Widow recurve. I usually hunt with my Mathews or my J Stipek custom recurve.

I loaned my Ben Pearson recurve to a friend several years ago and he says he "lost" it!
How the hell do you lose a bow?
Wish I had it back now. Best shooting bow I owned for years. I'd rather shoot instinctive with a recurve or longbow anyday!

Im ashamed to say it but I had to give up the ghost and get a crossbow this year. I have had a permit for one since 2003 when my Orthopedic guy said to quit shooting a compound. I kept shooting. But after the accident last year, both shoulders worked on and another back surgery, I just cant do it. I can shoot a couple times and it about makes me cry down both legs.
I havent been going, other than taking my youngest son. It dont seem like much sport. If the boys dont get one in the freezer soon, we are about out, Ill take it behind the house and shoot a little one with it for meat. But I think my bow huntin is over. Might as well be shooting a rifle.
I never got into the traditional stuff. But have killed a traincar load of deer and turkey with a compound.
