Good times must be here & we're rolling in fat coin!!!
Our beloved U.S. Fish & Wildlife service is fixing to spend $15,000 on a ten year program to breed Red Squirrels up on Mt. Graham. Red Squirrels. Is there even a closed season on these things back east?? I'm not buying the numbers, either. Once this 'pilot program' gets started, the skies the limit on funding requests (demands).
I should be happy about it only costing $15,000 though. A couple of months ago, they wanted to spend $1.25 million to build 'Canopy Bridges' to 'aid the sustainability' of these fuzzy littly darlings that cann't cross a dirt road without getting hit by a car.
Hey Andy; Help us out here. Put on some dark sunglasses & a shemagh and get some video of your own-self live trapping some down home Reds to bring along to the camp out. You could drive the greenies nuts letting them go up on top & probably improve the squirrel's gene pool at the same time. ![[Big Grin]](biggrin.gif)
