If you all could please... take a few moments and send up some prayers that he, Sgt. Kouba, returns back to his family safe and from harm in a year... I sure would appreciate it.
This is his second deployment. I think I'm more nervous with this one than the last one. He will be scouting for the engineers, which in my mind puts him out front.
He may not be my Son by blood, but he certainly IS my Son in my heart! He's the best husband to my daughter and the best Daddy to my granddaughter.

Shari, I wish nothing but the best and prayer is sent for him. Our boys overseas all need prayers daily and I try to do that.
Thank him for his service and what he is doing for us for me as well.

OHMYGOSH... Thank You Everyone! I will keep you all updated. He is MY Boy in every way!
I had Bob Hart build him a custom rifle last year for Christmas and we haven't even had the time to knock anything down with it yet... and you all know how that would be a waste ![[Wink]](wink.gif) I call him Sonny Boy, so I had Bob engrave that name on the barrel.
Koko... YES... that would be Raven's husband! My Gosh...I can't believe you remember my baby!
Leonard... so glad you got the package...now don't be showing those nudies to anyone Did you enjoy it?
He called yesterday before he took off and talked to my granddaughter who is 9. She has been with me until her Mommy gets here. I had a hard time listening to that precious angel. The lump was growing in my throat the more she talked. Her words to her Daddy... and I quote:
Daddy, Be Safe Over there and hurry home. You are the bestest Daddy ever because you go away and fight for us. You protect and keep me safe and everybody in America safe. I'm going to hug my Daddy Bear every night before I go to sleep. You should be able to feel my hugs Daddy. I Love You and don't forget to write me letters.
I still get choked up...

Just a thought if you put up an address for him I bet a few of us in here would be willing to send him letters and some would be willing to draw picture since they can't write.

Sheri.You know that he and the rest of your family are always in my prayers.
There are times when I think about Shady and Junior treeing all the cats in heaven. Bet they are sitting under the carport waiting for God to come out and have his coffee.
