Spent 10 hours Monday doing finish work on a bunch of accounts and thought I'd share the pics...
This first deer was taken by my gunner, Kevin, this past season. A nifty non-typical with lotsa garbage on the left side and mucho stickers everywhere.
This was the second biggest buck I rec'd this season. The biggest deer this customer has ever shot and he's eager to get it home this weekend.
A deuce, with the buck being shot by a good friend while he and his young son sat in a two-man stand together. A couple weeks later, his son connected on the doe and I mounted them to hang together.
My first and only wild boar, a 417 pound behemoth taken in south Texas. The "shields" on this hog were right at 2-3/4 inches thick.
Another howling coyote mount. I'm doing several of these a year now for guys.
and finally, a javelina skull I cleaned this week for the same guy who shot the boar. I never get bored with the armaments on these buggers.
I have other stuff, but this is all I have pics of right now.

BTW, what do you charge for a howling coyote? And, do you have to supply your own coyote? I mean, its not like a buck or something that is unique....

As to the other questions...

I do have a few capes in the freezer already tanned and ready to mount. They're several years old but I thawed them out before this past spring and they were still good. As far as sending something to me, that's not a huge deal. There is a handy way to do it but we have to coordinate at both ends, both for sending and for me receiving. I've done a lot of work for guys outside Kansas. Getting it to me isn't a problem. Getting it back to you is a bigger challenge and usually invles some driving. If you have an idea what you're wanting, let me know and we can talk numbers.
As to prices on stuff, I've been able to keep my prices stable for four years now, but this year it really hurt due to increase in price on just about everything that goes into a mount. Therefore, I hope to do what is called "costing out" everything I do for animals where I make a list of every little thing that goes into a mount, labor, taxes, etc., and determine what my new prices will be very soon. When I have that done, I hope to determine a price that will be affordable to guys in places like this that will help offset the cost of overnighting a frozen head to me a bit. I'll post those figured here when I have them.

I've never done one, but I did do a barren ground caribou from Alaska some time back and have done a number of bull elk. The only challenges I could see with a moose are the bell and getting the finished mount back to someone in moose country. LOL For the extra money on elk, moose and larger antlered critters of your sort, there is now (and has been for some time) the option of detachable antlers where a male square stock rod is epoxied into the burr of the antler, and a female counterpart epoxied into the skull plate. The male part is inserted into the female and turned 90-degrees to lock into place, that way the antlers can be removed for relocating, getting the mount through the door, etc., I've known instances where one guy had to remove the entire bay window from his home to get his mount into their family room. He sent the wife shopping and had a crew of homies over to help him. They got the window off, mount in and window back in place in four hours and the wife was not even suspicious of anything. One of my customers actually spent most of three hours navigating his house with a bull elk before he finally got it on a nail. My only limitation is that my shop isn't big enough to do anything much bigger than a couple deer. I have to use the garage itself for elk, and I did a bull once that was so big that with the brisket only 20-inches off the ground, the tine tips were well above the chain on the opener. It was a 7X8 bull belonging to a member here.

or, at the other extreme, something I rarely do - tree rats, let alone piebald tree rats.
