I'm leaving for Wyoming this Wednesday. Anyone know of anything fun to do up there this time of year?

You mean your guide/host doesn't have your itinerary(sp) worked out for you?

If it doesn't quit raining so I can get these gawd damned sheep killing coyotes finished off, he isn't going to be up to much but following me around in the mud chasing ghost coyotes that kill a sheep every night.

Sounds good to me. I'm gonna try to shoot a turkey Geordie. Not sure how much Calvin knows about hunting them though. Do you still have a dog up there you need to get home?

Well, I would Andy, but since it's a USDA operation it isn't allowed. Brad is coming turkey hunting for the weekend, but may have to hire a guide if I don't get this taken care of. And I don't know jack shit about turkeys. Brad is talking about camo and calls and all this crap. I thought you just drove around drinking beer and shoot them out of the truck window. Stupid damn birds. At night with a light you can shoot them right out of the trees. Who needs camo for that? Maybe if Geordie has a dog up here somewhere we can borrow it and if Brad can throw it high enough we can flush them out of the trees that way?

Sorry, no dog yet. As far as the turkey hunting goes, Cal seems to have it figured out. Remember Brad, when you are up there, you represent all us Okie's. So, when spotlighting those roosted birds, be careful not to shine the light in your hosts eyes. Always be aware of whats beyond the muzzle...we dont want the muzzle blast to bust any rear view mirrors. Don't forget to pick up your hulls/casings, this keeps them from finding their way down the defrost vent and causing irritating rattles or jamming up vent doors. Just a few things to keep our pristine image up. You can still fart in the cab of the truck, drink all his beer and eat all his food.....you are the guest.

Turkeys, in Wyoming? Well, leave it to a gawd damned Okie.

They aint got no turkeys up there Brad. Hells fire, come must NE of your house to MO. We got the most in the world, I guess. Im sure yall got your fair share at home.

Now, listen close Okie, if you want antelope, mule deer, elk or bear or moose or something like that, go to Wyoming. But not for turkeys!

Then you go hire a big game guide and coyote murderer? Ill tell ya, Ill never figger out an Okie.

Calvin, you got any tittie bars up there or whorehouses? Im lookin for the real reason that goofball drove all the way up there....

Another conspiracy nut! Sorry, Kelly. It's an automated system. I didn't even bring a laptop.

Good hunting. ElBee

Sheep? Thats my best guess for a reason for an Okie to fly this far north.

But we do have turkeys. I wouldn't walk across the street to shoot one, but Brad and his father in law will be here tommorrow night to murder some. And its supposed to snow tonight and tommorrow.

Ah, sheep makes much more sense for an Okie to leave Okie land than turkeys. [Big Grin]

sounds like someone needs to learn how to cook ya a wild turkey Cal, then you'd have reason enough to kill'em. Dang fine grub, goes real fine with a cold beer!

Ya sheep... uh I mean, Cal I'm appalled at just the notion!

Geordie, your summation of turkey hunting and okie hunting manners in general bring a tear to my eye! Make us proud Brad. [Big Grin]

I'll do my best guys. Calvin sent me a picture this morning and there's snow on the ground. I've never hunted turkeys in the snow.

Now, I just hope he gets that sheep killer before I get there. I really don't feel like sitting on a hill with a radio in my hand for four days. Maybe he'll let me bring an ice chest.

Brad, one word: Peach Brandy.

Good hunting. LB

edit: oh, BTW. If you see any sheep stuck in the fence, make sure Cal doesn't have a camera. No camera/didn't happen!
