Oooooohhhhh............Bad idea Andy. How do you know that the Leonard is REALLY gone. He could be still here. Lurking. Watching. Testing us and taking notes.

I wuold say lets start another fight with PMS, but they are such easy targets, thats not even a challege anymore. Kinda like slappin a retard. Fun and all, but no challenge to it.

There's always Glock talk...
I just want to know why Elbee bypassed you and Lonny anyway. Ya'll certainly proved your qualified. I think he knows ya'll did a better job of moderating the place.
Next thing ya know 49 will get the keys, now that's a scary thought!
Posted by Nikonut (Member # 188) on May 09, 2010, 04:54 PM:
Guys,
You know these Californians have had a warm spot in their hearts for us Okies every since the "Dust Bowl" days!

Let me see your papers Okie!
Wait...Im one..dammit.
Posted by TOM64 (Member # 561) on May 09, 2010, 05:15 PM:
What part Lone Howl?
I lived in Olivehurst for 4 years as a kid, that's outside of Marysville, North of Sacramento. It was a nice area with the mountains just a short ride away, just way too many people.
Nikonut, you claim to be an okie but in your other post you say you've lived in IL for 53 of 57 years? How's that work, can I claim to be a prune picker? (not that I'd want to but I might get some miles out of Leonard)
We are gonna delete this before he gets back ain't we?
Posted by Andy L (Member # 642) on May 09, 2010, 05:38 PM:
Lets lobby Elbee when he gets back to give me and Lonny the keys.
That way if you get out of line, I can get this close to lockin this thread..

LOL! Born in Henryetta, Oklahoma at a little two story doctors office, raised in Pleasant Valley, Oklahoma until I was dragged kicking and screaming to Illinois at the age of four. I spent every Summer back in Dewar, Oklahoma or Wetumka with cousins until I was 18, moved back to Okmulgee, Oklahoma that year and stayed two more years...
I might not have been living in Oklahoma all my years but Oklahoma is in my blood and will always be my home! I still own the old homestead in Pleasant Valley after all these years! That's also why I'm a life member in the OPHA, someday I plan to move back home!
Born an Okie and will always be an Okie at heart!

We gotta get Leonard to change his title back to "Warden."
Posted by Andy L (Member # 642) on May 10, 2010, 04:11 AM:
Like I said before, born an Okie, live your life in the PRIL. You aint had shit for a chance your whole life have ya?
Gawd Dammit Tom, dont tell me your livin in California? Thats even worse than Niko!
That is a good idea though. PM is too easy, but we could start a war with Glocktalk. 49, lead the charge, I dont even know where the hotspots are and there is no time for recon. Where do we need to hit em first?
We gotta hit em hard and fast, before they know what happened. You dont remember the ole PM wars, but we had them simple fucks mad as hell, but they are so retarded now, its no fun anymore.
So, lead the way 49, show us where to hit em, we dont have much time. We need some pissed off LE types hangin around here when Elbee gets back.
Posted by TOM64 (Member # 561) on May 10, 2010, 05:43 AM:
Ya Andy, that's probably what's wrong with me I served 4 years "out there" until I made my escape at age 11, they'll never take me back, dead or alive!
Nikon, thanks for the explanation, I always wondered where that pony tail came from.
Posted by Rich (Member # 112) on May 10, 2010, 05:44 AM:
You guys just settle down now please. Leonard is helping me convince Lone Howl to make a few tone boards for poor old "Killer" Cronk.
Posted by Nikonut (Member # 188) on May 10, 2010, 06:51 AM:
Hey Rich,
Lone Howl will do you well! We have to have this "wild'n" quick before Leonard comes home!!!
I'm telling on Andy for stirring the crap!
Tom, the ponytail was originally just to further piss off my Ex-wife during our divorce... that started in 2004, guess old habits are hard to break. Hell, I can't even afford a haircut now with "Obamanomics" in place!
The Republic of Illinois is a personal property tax state and mine just came due... $4200+! I may have to sell my ponytail to that "Hair Club" place on TV!!!

Niko
Your about this close to being banned. Lonny, meet me in the backroom. Were gonna have to have a talk about this half breed Okie/PRIL guy.
Tom, since you escaped the land of fruits and nuts at such a young age, you qualify as an Okie, which, I cant believe Im saying this, is much better.
Posted by Kokopelli (Member # 633) on May 10, 2010, 08:28 AM:
I can see now that this is gonna be a lonnnnng off season.
Posted by Andy L (Member # 642) on May 10, 2010, 09:55 AM:
KoKo, dont start no shit, we will drag your ass to the back room. You dont want to do that KoKo, just ask Niko! Im this close.

Andy,
My ears are burning!
At least that's better than over at PM... there my ass was always against the wall! Probably why I got banned from there, too. I wouldn't bend over for the frog!!!
Am I getting closer?

What do you mean off season? The fur's just gettin prime and the 17hummer is sighted in, dead on at 250 yards.
You just gotta love this place!
Posted by Kokopelli (Member # 633) on May 10, 2010, 02:23 PM:
Andy; Not a problem..........just remember that when you come to the SouthWest to replace the olive in the martini with a jalepeno.
Tom; I'm not messing with coyoteeeeees right now. The carp are starting to get prime, though. I do dearly love my bowfishing.
Posted by Andy L (Member # 642) on May 10, 2010, 03:08 PM:
Tom, please dont make me take you to the back room too!
Posted by Lonny (Member # 19) on May 10, 2010, 04:22 PM:
Gentlemen:
Here at PM we do not tolerate insubordination or attacks on moderators. The recent verbal abuses of Andy will not be tolerated....
Contrary to the rumor mill, Andy does not receive a dime for his efforts! Excluding the Alaska hunt and the upcoming African safari anyway.
You simpleton's that hang out here have no idea how much work we do behind the scenes to keep PM a happy and fun place to share experiences! We currently have 1.5 million registered members and 17 are active! Unfortunately over the years we have had to ban a couple people and one more left for personal reasons.
The hunting community should be one big happy family, and if you fellows think you're going to have your merry way abusing moderators, you'll have another thing coming...
If Tom wants to shoot 6-week-old-pups with his HMR, more power to him! Remember, we need to stick together and promote the $port NO MATTER WHAT!
Posted by Nikonut (Member # 188) on May 10, 2010, 04:27 PM:
Is a 17hummer enough gun for hunting carp?
Here in Obamaland we can't even shoot across the water with a rifle! I'd love to try shooting flying carp on the Illinois river though! Might be fun with a crossbow, too!
I heard they were going to send out new NightForce scopes and the new PM "Special" DPMS AR's to the retired and even the banned staff! I'm like a kid at Christmas waiting!
When does frog season begin?

A few power lines down, some out buildings rearranged and some bull racks upside down in the ditch. Mostly straight line winds but a cork screw or two bounced around.
Posted by Andy L (Member # 642) on May 10, 2010, 09:08 PM:
Headed straight at us. Sayin they may break up a bit before they get here, I hope. Should be here in the next few hours. 70 mph straight winds just west of us.

Hope all ya'll make it through OK! We're even getting rain and high winds up here in Illinois!

Posted by TOM64 (Member # 561) on May 11, 2010, 03:59 PM:
Quick tornado story, yesterday a customer ordered a starter and an alternator for one of his trucks that was down. He couldn't find one anywhere so I went to work and built em for him based on his discriptions and some guess work on my part. His last words were, you're sure they'll be here in the morning? I confirmed that unless a tornado shut us down it was on the way.
Well he called this morning wondering where his parts were, I tracked them and got a weather delay, seems I40 was shut down and they couldn't get the trucks through. Not much we could do.
Now the interesting part, my UPS driver tells me the story. He was driving down the highway when his truck was hit in the back end by who knows what but it spun him around. He got it stopped and was facing towards a driveway so he got off the highway and parked by 3 larger pine trees, lining the driveway. He knew a tornado was spotted but didn't know where until one of the pine trees took off like a rocket. Then his truck was lifted up, back down then back up and finally on it's side and up and down again several times. When it was over he was about 50 yards out in a pasture on his side.
He called UPS, they got there and unloaded his truck, tried like hell to get to OKC hub but I-40 was shut down. He wasn't hurt but did say it was a good thing his uniforms are brown.
Anyone else see the Loves store on I-40 that was demolished? Notice the glass figurine case was untouched? Odd things happen and they always intrigue me. Looks like we got a whole week to be intrigued.
