Even after reading the explanation by the man's lawyer, I couldn't follow what was happening on the video.
However, this cop is an asshole of the first order, if his, (the perp's) account is even half way accurate.
The problem is, (and I have never been arrested) that those arrests never go away, even if charges are dropped or he prevails, in court. That is an unacceptable blemish on charector, and reason enough to sue the bastard and the department for abuse......if only he were black! and on parole!

I would like to see a copy of the charging documents and investigation report before I pass judgement on this one. There may have been more to the story here.
If not, the officer would obviously be wrong for arresting someone solely on asking for his badge number.
